  1. what's the maximum for the mini GP at Eastern Creek? I'd be up for a 1 hour session at Picton though. Thanks for doing the ringing around too Mish... :D
  2. Saw a red Series 4 RX7 on the Hume Highway today with a Ferrari sticker on the front 1/4 panel... <_<
  3. don't let Pete (CORZZA) see this... he'll get ideas...
  4. But Rob, you yourself would have been on the phone while in operation of a moving vehicle would you have not?
  5. mines done ~65,000 with some serious hard launches and several track days... still going strong :D
  6. Bill, I'll be seeing you at a bar inside the facilities then ;) seriously though, give us a call if you get down there, even if you will be associated with the McLaren's instead of the Ferrari's this year :P welcome to our world for every other race of the season. And at least you have to race on a Lazy Sunday and not on Monday morning ;)
  7. Would love to but Sunday I'll be sitting at turn 9 ;)
  8. my thoughts exactly Bill. a change over at 5500 looks ideal for that car.
  9. How many people will be in Melbourne for the GP this year? I'll be down from Thursday night to Monday morning, driving down but we're staying in Geelong (mates relos) anyone interested in a meet-up for a few brews and a chin wag?
  10. I take that as a yes you're coming along to this then Carlo? :P
  11. the ideal spot is at the overlap of the torque and power curves of the 2 cams. Just as the 1st cam is dropping off of power the 2nd one should kick in. The guys who have gone to the ApexiPFC over here have dropped it to ~5600-5800 RPM
  12. open the yellow pages and look up... 'Brake and Clutch services'.
  13. is there a torque curve to go with that, it seems like a stupidly low place to point the change over. I thought 5500-5800 was ideal. Or has this car had cam work done?
  14. I take it from that the general consensus is a no for the Dyno day on the long weekend then. that's fine with me, I'll plan a couple of nice cruises instead for you guys then. Northern Beaches sounds good for the day on Sat. Aqua golf and then up the mountains around Penrith Sat night. Then head south on Sunday. :D Another idea would be to have a karting session at Eastern Creek karts? Though Picton Karts is cheaper and caters for groups better. Thoughts people?
  15. Very interested to know the outcome of that. BE sure to keep us all informed :) Sorry, didn't realise regulations do not allow modifications to the cam profile in GTP, but I should have guessed. Out of interest what can be done and still be legal. Do you have a copy of the regulations or know where they are available from? I look forward to seeing the Celicas out there again this year, hopefully the can go through the season incident free this year.
  16. any of those shocks mentioned whuld be fine. They should be revalved to fit when installed. Konis would be the preference though.
  17. Easy done in a day... but a long day... Take the Nasho down to Wollongong then up Macquaries Pass to Moss Vale... let the cars cool down a bit on the 45 minute drive down to Goulburn to go to Wakefield Park (Prob no running time as I think there's an event on that weekend) then a 2 hour drive back to WSID which just happens to be a 5 minute drive from where you are all staying :P
  18. and ebay sellers always tell the truth... trust me, they are the Sportivo accessory pedals for the Camry, but they should fit an Auto Corolla too.
  19. for the live of your shocks I'd say Eibach I had Tein S-Tech before and they are great gut you need shocks to match, the stock ones become too bouncy real fast.
  20. you have teh interwebz... learn to use them ;) Coming from the city towards Penrith on the M4 take the 2nd Penrith Exit (Mulgoa Road) then take the 2nd right (Batt St) then Robertson Place is the 2nd right again. Al Palmers workshop is in the left about 4 or 5 places down the road. (and fear my mad paint skillz as well :P )
  21. Will be great to see all you guys down here. Time to start planning cruises :D What would people like to see while they are here?
  22. Neil I'm interested to know, have you installed the Piper Cams in the 'production' engines? If so, is that the figure you have given and if not, what gains have you seen?
  23. who needs to spend money on headers to get 14.3? :P btw, why has the tread been moved
