  1. you find the guide point for the inflator nossel and line that up. Then hold that side of the hubcap in place and give the other side a firm whack!!!! It should pop right in.
  2. Interesting point... I'll look out for that one Jason Cheers
  3. Actually most the common aftermarket seats sold in Australia are ADR compliant. As far as mount go. Head to a wrecker and pull the rails out of a crashed 1ZZ-FE and get them modified to fit the seats. That way you don't ruin the stock ones in case you wish to put them back in at any point, like to sell the car or anything like that.
  4. second vote for Lovells superlows being the lowest.

  8. GREAT question, one I am hoping you could answer because once upon a time when mine went from 17" back to 13" (insurance matter etc.etc.etc.) the car was dramatically lower ... no idea why. I know mine sits slightly higher on my street rims then my track rims because the street rims have 215/45r17 tyres where as the track rims have 205/50r16 so the rolling diameter is slightly larger (about 3% I think) Lightweight rims and lowered springs (in that order of course) + some konis and camber pins will keep you happy for a whileAh we are getting somewhere .. that's a great set-up, I sometimes wish I had gone that way instead the noisy coilover route...
  9. ooooooooo, haven't been here for a while but I like the band name idea Rob just thought of this one... Conspicuous Absence
  10. yep, the same oils are recommended for both the 1ZZ-FE and 2ZZ-GE engines.
  11. tyres provide greater benefit to rims. If he has perfectly capable rims on there (as all cars do) and perfectly functional tyres on them, why get more? There is something to be said about the sleeper appearance though. assuming he's a noob, he won't be going light weight though... and if the tyre/wheel combination has a near identical rolling diameter (independent of the wheel diameter) why should the car sit any higher?
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANZ!!!! :D
  13. wow, basing an opinion on a sample set of 1... you'd be a salesman's dream
  14. lower has function, wheels have bling... funtion wins over form every time, I'm sorry lower 1st, rims later. [/close thread]
