Welcome to the Forum! Hit up the lowering spring comparison page for an idea of what's available for Rukus lowering :)
  4. Did you work something out with Terry for the tails? Yeah, he just needs a little more time to get some extra $$$ togethor and to get some tails from a local dealership for day to day use, can't wait.
  5. On the list, Borla exhaust, get rid of the flames and get my scratch repaired, eyelids and usdm taillights :) short list right
  6. Will that Borla exhaust fit the locally made rukus by any chance? I've watched some YouTube vids and I love the sound
  7. Did they quote you on just the part by any chance? I cant imagine it being that difficult to install to be honest
  8. Would be more than happy to have them :P any rough ideas on how much postage is from here to the States?
  9. Hey Cductn, are they the same tailights that you're running? Is there any issue in terms of in the states they run red indicators rather than yellow? I'm very keen :) Althought I can't go driving around without taillights while waiting for the new ones to arrive :(
  10. Nice work, now i know this sounds odd but do u have a photo of what they look like off, I just want to see how they fit into the bumper :)
  11. Not in Sydney but the easiet place is probably Ebay, the below is based in SA http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-RUKUS-REAR-SPOILER-PROFESSIONALLY-PAINTED-BRAND-NEW-/251320927410?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a83e504b2#ht_461wt_932 Or based in Melb: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-RUKUS-SPOILER-/320735082859?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aad4cf96b#ht_163wt_1170
  12. Anyone up for a photoshoot somewhere after we all meet up? (Besides the McD's car park I mean).
  13. Nice work gents :) I would have no clue
  14. Funnily enough look what some shunt did to mine over the weekend (Rukus) Range of emotions: First, swearing Second, Sinking depressing feeling Third, Where's me axe

    Rukus

  16. Left I've seen too many Holden SV6's with the one on the right and a guy that parks in my building has them on his Landrover Discovery 3 so left.
  17. Others can better judge but I've been 4 or 5 times and have never been given grief, cops have turned up before and sat in their cars hoofing away at the dunkun donut replacement that is McD's but we never rev the nuts off our engines or play loud music so they don't seem to give a p!ss
  18. Maybe instead of wheels you could go suspension? depending on your route can work out a lot cheaper than new wheels?
  19. If you're big on DIY Sonia take a look into the world of Plasti Dip (If you haven't heard of already), all my badges are now plasti dipped matte black to match the wheels. Also the Rukus suspension seems a little high out of factory especially in the rear so take a look at http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/38037-rukus-lowering-spring-comparison/ to suss out how to make your Rukus not look like it sits on stilts (which I always hated after I got my after market wheels). Personally I went the Coilover route with some Tein Street Basis kits flown over from Japan but depending on your budget you can just go springs i.e. Tanabe to get that look you want unless you're towing things :P I guess the best it's best to ask around, Cductn is running a full airbag suspension setup, Flex is running aftermarket springs (I think Tanabe) and I'm running coilovers. P.S sorry to go off topic feel free to whip afterwards
  20. Hey Stuart take a look at http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/39412-daytime-light-on-rukus/ I've posted links to a DRL that fits those bumper spaces (at least looks like) and the instruction manual, I'll be buying them this week :)
  21. To touch on what Chris said these wont fit the Australian delivered Rukus, I've been looking at DRL's for a while and have considered the Custom Route like Flex but don't have the time or patience so this is my alternative http://www.mnrelectronics.com/20scxbculedd.html (click on the link for some reason u may have issues copy and pasting). I've checked out the manufacturers website and seen the installation manual http://www.rostra.com/manuals/260-1002-XB1_Form5304.pdf and it looks fairly easy to install and has all the bits needed so no need to cut, solder, heatshrink etc. Just need more dosh before taking the plunge, once I do i'll let you guys know how I go with some pics :)
