  1. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=9767 Design number 2 is the one that was chosen. Stickers are currently in production and i should have them for distribution by the end of next week. They will cost about $10 each. M M will be getting the stickers for NSW and Big bum will be getting them for the VIC guys. If you are outside of those 2 areas then i can arrange postage to you at your expense. Brisbane guys can pick up from either myself or Northy at one of our meet ups.
  2. Race brakes Australia make some . RB 74 is the part number. they are a bit hard on discs depending on how you drive.
  3. It has been for sale for ages and ages. Last time I looked he wanted $30k for it which is ridiculous. Has he dropped the price???
  4. What does that tell you??? Become a member???LOL
  5. they are toyota ones I know that much but what sorry can't help there.....
  6. Canberra also takes the cake for the toughest water restrictions over the longest period of time :P besides... whats the point in cleaning the engine bay? it'll just get dirty again well I guess the same goes for the exterior, interior and underbody. But then again clean cars sell easier too.....
  7. U.B. you'll be sore if I hit you with it......
  8. but y SB ...... its so much fun :P :P :P  Cause I have a U.B.
  9. That muffler was sold on the car. The one I sold separate was a stock sportivo cat back system. They aren't loud though so maybe it has been changed??
  10. Looks like Canberra may take the cake for dirty engine bays...... :P :P
  11. and you can still walk away after an "off" Yamaha R1.... Pffft I"m sure my mate with a turbo "busa" would love to chew you up and spit you out in 1st gear LOL there's always someone bigger and better I say........ As for coilpacks/plugs dont ask me as I'm not the one tuning it. So stop shooting the messenger I'm just delivering what I've been told
  12. Kelvin33 owns the white facelift. It has coilovers,TRD CAI, CES catback, TRD front strut brace and rear sway as well as some stereo enhancements. He also has a factory headunit with the light colours changed to red!! Looks awesome and this is one tidy car. I think he won a trophy at last years CES dyno day/show and shine. As for my old car... ahh the memories of my car and also of that friggen train carriage that ripped my leg open to the bone and gave me 5 stitches :( <_< <_< Great shots Mr North I do like
  13. If you bend the back edge(closest to the strut tower) of the hole the CAI goes through down it will give you the clearance you need. I have fitted many CAI's to facelift sportivo's and corolla's to know that they do fit but you have to modify the back edge lip down to gain that little more clearance. These CAI's are not really designed to fit our cars but moreso USA spec cars.
  14. I was talking to CES yesterday and apparantly the tuners managed to get it to run on the dnyo with lift for a brief moment before the misfiring started. they have lift coming in earlier than a stock car(about 5700 from memory) and on the dyno it hit 6000rpm before the miss started and the dyno graph went straight up and hit 202kw before they shut it down!! Man I cannot wait to see it with it's full tune completed!! Tuners have some new coil packs coming and possibly this week we may hear some more news.....
  15. So does this late model TRD CAI not require the back edge of the hole behind the headlight to be modified?? If it does then that would be why you can't get all your mounts to line up as it is pullin the CAI towards the front of the car. you have to make the back edge of the hole rounded to allow clearance between the headlight and the CAI and also for clearance of the underside of the CAI where it goes throgh the hole into the inner guard.
  16. have they told you what sort of design they have in mind?? Seeing that the stock headers ported and flowed so far yield the best results...
  17. Or you buy one from Queensland as we seem to have the ones with the higher output The further south you get the slower they are :P :P :P :P :P
  18. It sounds like it is gear train chatter. you are driving in a taller gear at low rpm at a slower speed and you get what they call gear chatter. my car did it and so has most sportivo's i have driven. As for whoever said toyota had quoted the 2ZZ had a 8600rpm limit with 141kw.... you need to check your facts as someone is telling you porkies........ As for rattles and noises you guys haven't heard rattles and noises till you have driven in my Civic LOL(Hey Northy!!)
  19. Well that is one option for a turbo but the other that has popped it's head up is a T4 with a modified exhaust housing. Not exactly sure what size housing(think it might be .8 from memory) it is but it also depends on how much i get it for. As for the intercooler from a XR6 they are good for around 300kw on a 4L engine. I certainly am not going for that and my engine is also only 3L and I want power from 1200rpm to about 3600rpm. Don't want to rev the ring out of it as I want it to be almighty reliable plus the XR6 intercooler is a garrett bar and plate and will fit perfectly behind my bullbar where the vents in the bar are with the inlet and outlet making fitment very easy and simple. Plus I got it fro a very nice price
  20. I have just finished doing some R&D for Kings springs to get ride heights level for the Sportivo mainly but will also include normal Corolla's. If you put low in the front and super lows in the rear then loosen the bolts off that attach the rear torsion beam to the chassis of the car to allow the rubber bushes to move to the position the beam will now sit with the lower springs it will sit within 3-5 mm of being dead level. Just loosen the bolts off a bit then go for a quick drive than come back and re tension them up. Dont leave them really loose but just nip them up as the drive will help relocate the beam in the bushes where it will be happy and not putting stress on the bushes. My Sportivo measured 330mm from hub to guard on the front and 333mm on the rear for the same measurement. Makes the car handle so much better when it sits flat combined with Koni's,front strut brace and rear sway you will take on someone with coilovers and the same set up and difference will be unmeasurable.
  21. 7AFE doesn't have 100kw. They make about 86kw from memory as Toyota says...
  22. Mate the Golf R32 is a nice car and a complete package. Having driven one(and I like ) I will say that Kurt's car would eat one up easy as. The fact that it is still not at it's peak potential power wise will tell you that it is going to chop up a lot of "supposed fast cars" quite easy.
  23. Airtec snorkel will appear in the next week or so....
  24. I had a call from CES late yesterday with an update on the turbo Sportivo. It has had it's first service and all is well engine wise. It went back to the tuners for what you could only call stage 2. Well it's getting to be a bit of a monster power wise now!!! Running on only the low cam to 7000rpm on 14psi it pushes 177kw atw. Lift has been disengaged and it's running on only the low end cam due to the tuners wanting to do some more with the spark side of things as when it hits lift it is almost blowing the spark out or something along those lines. They are going to be playing with plugs, coils etc etc from what I am told. When they ran it into lift on the dyno it went spastic and started to turn the tyres on the rollers before it began to misfire a bit. Graph wise running only the low end cam it literally climbs very straight up the page dramatically and top gear acceleration from low rpm is like landing in lift N/A at about 85-90km/hr. to sya the least the owner has a very large smile on his dial but will need some new tyres for the front very shortly....
  25. Actually depending on the tyre 215/40/17 is closer to stock diameter. I'd rather have my speedo read slightly fast by a few % than read slow and get booked for being only a coupl of k"s over the limit. BTW Sportivo's and Corolla's only have adjustment wheel alignment wise on the front. Rear is non adjustable. But I am working on making something to adjust the rear camber/tow.......
