  1. Welcome mate nice car. If you need any tips/help on your car ask one of us or do a search as most topics have already been covered!
  2. Latest addition for Hilux.... clear side indicators coming sometime this week! turbo kit isn't too far away....
  3. I cleaned out my inbox and ended up with -31. It's now back to -6 but just figured it was some form of forum error??? everything else seems to be ok.
  4. OK so which one of you Sydney crew is running a muck in a stolen tank trying to knock down repeater towers because Vodaphone isn't looking atfer you???? Xoom haven't you just moved into the area??? C'mon surely someone knows something......
  5. Get the energy suspension motor mount inserts. Had them on mine and worked a treat!! They will soon reside under the bonnet of a black sportivo up here in Brissy...
  6. We just ahd something like that up here in brissy with a few of the boys. Northy got out his mega camera and all the gear to take some pics. Just waiting to see them.
  7. what about ozlancer.com????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  8. Ditto Tri-tto LOL kidding. But I do want some pics ;) You'll have to hurry up Northy for them as he took them.... Arrgghhh the pain of not being able to accelerate fast is starting to take it's toll..... :(
  9. I nominate Northy!!!! If something can break he'll break it
  10. There was about 3 or 4 modded Sportivo's on car sales for the last 4 weeks or so varying in price from 21 to 24k. I know because my car was one of them. If you are buying a pre facelift sportivo check to see if it has a silver and black sticker in the driver's door jamb. they are the recall stickers for things that Toyota recalled the vehicles to be fixed/replaced. Check the rest of this site for all the details etc etc.
  11. Change the paper filter to a sports type like K&N or something along those lines. you can now buy an ECU chip for the 5le. ARB and some of the bigger 4WD companies carry them and they claim to make good gains over stock. Combine that with a better exhaust system and it will go better. I have a 99 SR5 5L and am about to do snorkel, aftermarket turbo/intercooler set up through CES(forum sponsor) and then some dyno tuning. Hoping to achieve about 90 -100kw atw.
  12. Aus spec Sportivos have a 8000rpm limit and they run on 95 octane of higher only. Lower octane fuels make them go like a bag of crap. As for all the other stuff we don't see anything like that here as all we get is the bare povo models of everything.....
  13. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=2020 Here's how to do it. It will help with the addition of a CAI but the effect of a CAI will be felt without it. Check workshop submissions for this kind of stuff people.......
  14. Xoom has the old design. The new elected design is currently being put through a production run so sit tight. Prolly in the next week or so I should see them.
  15. New owner is local to me and I have given him the web address as well for this forum. So he might join up and attend outings etc etc. Just when the Brissy boys thought they had got ridden of the Bullit from the show and shines..... it could be back to win some more.........
  16. Last week they did a comaprison between a Ford Territory turbo and a Porsche 911 to compare the 2 as Ford's ad suggests it eats sports cars. The comparison was so one sided it wasn't funny and the comaprison tests were ridiculous. Reverse park... the Ford has camera's and the bloke who drove the Porsche really cannot drive and ham it up badly. The bread and milk run to the shop was another and the reporter tool in the Territory went to the shop and chose to go down some small lane way that was basically cobblestones and the guy in the Porshce had to drive so slow cause it was so rough.(It might have been Parramatta RD LOL) Again another poor example. This one was the worst..... pick up some friends(4) so again the territory won as the Porsche could only take 1 at a time. The show is a mockery of all proper motoring shows and the only reason I watched it was for the Dutton rally as one of the guys I know competed in his VW beetle and another I know in his hot VW Polo GTI with killer HP. Saw a few small clips of them in the footage!!
  17. No pig hunting but I wanted to be able to go camping again and needed somehting to fit all my stuff in as well as my wife wants to go to Fraser Island etc etc plus I needed something to tow my brothers show car around to shows/track/strip etc etc. The Hilux will have some nice additions soon with the turbo set up from CES well under way as well as some other items to make the car what I want it to be.....
  18. Well as most of you know my car was up for sale and sold quite quickly. Well this arvo it was picked up by the new owner and driven off into the near darkness(albeit very slowly LOL) for the last time. :( So my garage now houses a far bigger car that takes up heaps more room!! :D I will miss it but it has pretty much single handedly got me into my first house with the money I got from selling it!! So it isn't lost for a useless cause. Northy,Azza,JC, Kelvin33 and myself had a combined photoshoot this arvo before I handed the Bullit over with master Northy snapping away for nearly 2 hours. I got him to do a separate set of my car so I can add them to my collection. When he gets around to sorting and developing the shots from today I'll post them up. We'll also post up some of the group shots from today as well. The weather was perfect and Northy was quiet happy with himself and a lot of the shots he took... Now bring on some pics Mr North....
  19. Well Brissy is the palce to be really low as the roads up here are not rough as guts like they are in Sydney...
  20. I do have some video of it on the dyno at CES on my phone. Just have to get around to downloading it to my PC then putting it up on here.
  21. Lowest point on my Sportivo was 110mm of the ground.
  22. That's what we like to hear. Regards to Lucy!! I'll be out this week with exhaust system for Dimsim and Scott if you want the springs I have them as well.
  23. I think it's run in by now with 193 000k's on it LOL. Am going to check valve clearances and get injector nozzles cleaned/replaced as recommended by one of my parts suppliers.
