  1. Hi all

A friend of mine works at Autobarn Lawnton and told me they are having a car show of sorts next thursday night 15th may 6 - 8pm. there will be trophies for some categories like best 4,6,8 cylinder. Does anybody from TOCAU wish to attend?? Cost is $20 to enter. I plan on going for a look and we still have time for something afterwards. Post your expression of interest. I think we can have some good representation from our members cars here that's for sure!!

  2. Well boys and girls I have to face the realisation that this will be the first nat meet I wont be in attendance :( I simply just have a hell of a lot to contend with work wise as well as study and trying to finish renovating my house to have it on the market by end of June. Plus in early July I am off to Vanuatu to donate my time to help those a little more needy than I helping build churches, schools, handing out clothing etc in some of the poorer areas outside Port Vila.

Somebody else will definately have to dance with the ladies at Hooters as the masked man from the last Sydney nat meet has told me he is unable to attend and do the dancing this year too.....

  3. Big thanks to all who turned up and said they would. To those who didn't turn up and said they would...... harden up LOL

Great night and hope everyone enjoys thier goodies!!

Congrats to the major prize winners. Michael aka Slider will post up the winners picks!!

Andrew357 and soarer_gurl partner Glen you guys won some stuff so if you are out next week let me know andI'll drop it off at the meet.

  4. Guys my boss has given me some prizes to raffle off tomorrow night. So you have to be there to win!!! An array of car cleaning stuff through to gift vouchers for detailing to the vaule of $100. Might also have the BBQ going as well but wont know about that till tomorrow.

So let all TOCAU members knwo as a good turnout will surely be a good thing for this event to keep going and for work to kinda sponsor it as well!!

  5. It's not that you guys have installed the MAF in the pipe wrong but moreso the MAF has to be a certain ditance from the throttle body. ZZE's were ultra sensitive to this as I"m sure ZRE's would be as well. Sound pressure waves off the throttle butterfly opening and closing can also make a MAF read funny. Heat transfer from the throttle body will also have a certain effect.

Everything you guys have done is right so far but what I am saying is that maybe Injen haven't got it 100% right.....

  6. I'm on the exact same line of thought as Daryl. The Maf mount on the Injen is not in the correct position. On the ZZE's which i did a lot experimentation in the CAI dept with CES the position of the MAF is critical and Toyota's in general are quite sensitive when it comes to the MAF. So to me it looks like Injen may just have a design fault of sorts??

CES does have a CAI for ZRE's but unfortunately it never got completed because nobody could supply a car to finish the project as the original donor car suddenly became unavailable. It is quite different to the pics of the Injen not having the sharp bend and the pipe angles the Injen has for some strange reason.

ZRE's have waay more room for CAI than ZZE's do that's for sure.

  7. Front strut brace I can get new for you, As for CAI,Exhaust and ported headers give CES a call on 3200 2333. they sell all 3 and may do you a good price if you buy them as a package.

black badges toyota sell them. Ask for toyota bulls head logo for Sportivo Camry(Not current model) and Grilles you have a peek on ebay.
