  1. Still no word from the paint doody-jim.
  2. i have a dark metallic blue rolla, and am on the verge of giving up trying to keep it clean in terms of dirt and paint sworls. There was a debate some time back regarding the best colour to have - the winner was silver/grey if i recall
  3. anyone NOR is welcome to join up with me and cruise on in so we can join the Mexicans. Damn Mexicans.
  4. Yes... I'm sorry guys, I made it far too complex. I will simplify the choices in the next day or 2. I will also make sure that the printers offer both standard and slimline plates. Been a busy busy day - what happens when you get a public holiday - they squeeze 4 days worth of patients into 3, and then 2 staff members go on leave... you get the picture. Yes, I will get back to you. My dear moderators: any issues with doing this? No copyright infringements?
  5. Very nice - gives the car a nice edge to it. "A sensible car that can bite... hard"
  6. And the obligatory happy-snap But you know what they look like...
  7. Not being able to stand naked licence plates any longer, I was looking at getting a frame that was affordable and doable. I didn’t find anything that caught my attention, so I figured I would just have something printed. What’s that you say? A group buy? Why the hell not?! I emailed four groups. (I've narrowed this down to 1 - cheapest and best communication) Below are the details – I tried to standardise them all for a good comparison. All say that the frames must be the same design, so if you want something special… well you can’t with this group buy. I *think* these are all screen prints – they are not raised prints, but I can ask when I email them next. Please read carefully – plates are sold singly Quantities and costs: (with this place, if you want 2, double costs) < 50 = $12.95; > 50 = $9.95 Postage = $4.95 or bulk discount for > 30. Text colours (standard): black, white, blue, green, red, yellow, silver, gold Plate colours (standard): black, white, blue, chrome (which is more $$$) Plate colours (slimline): black, white Limitations: it seems like only 28 on the Bottom including Spaces, 40 on the top. This place (and I must say the email they sent was very nice), offered vinyl sticker printing services. Who would like a 50x50cm Toyota insignia on their rear window? au.toyotaownersclub.com is 23 characters, so I recommend this be on the bottom line. Any ideas on the top line? We’ll have to go with the consensus.
  8. Yes, I should be there, but I plan on being in a very very bad mood.
  9. Since i'm lazy, can someone do a head count? Off the top of my head (feel free to cut&paste): theDefiant1 Greddy Jay Jayrome T-rex Jeremy Haiison $Angelo$ Dannyboy Kenneth ... Total = 10
  10. I think a point of reference needs to be set. Are we simply talking about keeping in lift during gear changes (engine --> gearbox), or keeping in lift while getting that power to the ground (engine --> gearbox/drivetrain --> wheels)? I'm seeing two distinct theories at work here...
  11. Some were damn fine, some I would just love to take a shotgun to! Quite a few magnets for trouble, eh? A great set of photos though!
  12. I'm not saying directly... D = Richard H = Noggin Me being facetious! :P
  13. That engine bay is looking brilliant! Good touches.
  14. The incite has been emailed. I will keep you posted. I guess this means I'll be there... *sigh* :(
  15. Given that we have a member who can provide the same products (ie autoglym) for us, would you still like the stocker to attend? These are the other things he is involved with: www.u-pol.com.au www.gngsales.com.au www.ppcl.com.au (I couldn't get this one working) www.ace-australia.com.au www.fleet-hydrol.com.au I have made no promises, and I get nothing from inviting him, so I will not be offended in the least whatever your decision is.
  16. en garde! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  17. WA Sporting Car Club... Oh, I see - miscomprehended that. *shrugs* I haven't heard about them in a long time, so dunno. Maybe ask some of the guys at the meet etc.
  18. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=10096 That details the removal. Once the cluster is out, it is easy to disassemble - you'll see the clips.
  19. Just be mindful that many of the mods you're making makes the line between traction and hugging a tree much much much finer.
  20. *sigh* http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...c=11551&hl= http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...c=12205&hl=
