  1. Well, today I went to repco to purchase Narva Artic Blue bulbs for my headlights and foglights. Armed with the details from my car manual I confidently purchased all the bulbs I needed. B) Got home and pulled out the foglight bulbs....the manual says H3.....the bulb in the fog is HB4 :o So yep...I trust my manual <_< Am I the 1st to have discovered this or is my manual a dud...??..LOL
  2. Ok...I think I have an addiction to moding things on my car. :( Day off so decided to pull out the full centre console and paint the whole thing instead of half of it. :P

Bought new in April 2003...now has 117,000 on the clock.
  4. Dunno bout the Bundy for a tat but it does help for about 3 days after a tongue piercing...lol :P
  5. Yep, I reckon it prob would hurt a bit. Feet are supposed to be the worst so ive heard and if I can get wot I got on my foot (bein a girl and all :P ) I sure you could handle the forearm. :D
  6. Sorry to hear bout your accident. At least you are ok. Know the feeling. Makes you wanna cry when you look at your damaged pride and joy. :(
  7. My dad always taught me when i was learning to drive... "Any Idiot can drive a car fast, or accelerate hard. But a Truly experienced driver, knows how to stop it in a hurry" good advice.... Most (not all) but most p-platers arent experienced, but yes still very good advice from your dad. :D I would say that I experience a minimum of 7-8 p-platers every morning and afternoon, 5 days a week when I drop my son off to highschool. I learnt very very quickly to arrive early to drop him off and late to pick him up if I wish for myself and my car to leave unscathed. :( I still cannot see that limiting the kw will make a major difference.
  8. I debadged the camry sportivo today. The VVT-i badges are gone from both front panels and all except the toyota symbol on the boot. Not sure tho...i do like the Sportivo badge and was thinking of maybe putting it back on but central. Under the number plate or something. Not sure. Wot be you guys opinions??? :D
  9. Lovely...lmao. :P Yep im sure that would work, not :P -------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah xoom i not think you have anything to worry about either.. :D
  10. I dont understand how it can matter whether the car has 200kw or 100kw. A vehicle is a lethal weapon used incorrectly no matter what its power output. I learnt to drive in a 351 XC ford falcon that was never beaten on the quarter mile. The power in that car was insane. Now that im older I think about all the stupid risks I took and what could of happened to me, or worse....others!!! Simple fact...when your young you have no fear. Thats the problem and how the hell do you change that???
  11. I know an asian bloke who was raised by aussies, so he loves commodores, and the pictures he has showed me suggest that commodores can indeed drift :P Yes indeed they can drift. My best mate owns a 2005 sv6 commodore and he can drift that thing perfectly..... :D
  12. Cool. U should do it. Got one on the back of my neck, doesnt hurt there at all. :P
  13. Another one....lower back :D
  14. Found this topic so thought I'd show one of my fav tats... :P
  15. Sportivo sports muffler on. Absolutely love it :D My son loves the sound of it so recorded it on his mobile and insisted I put it on :P so here it is....
  16. Nice lookin camry. Those wheels look fantastic. :D
  17. Well work is done. Car drives beautiful with the new shocks but the rattle is still there although it not seem as bad. :( Will have to look into it more.
  18. Its costing me absolutly nothing. I was stunned at this...my extended warranty is covering them :o So as a result the genuine toyota shocks are goin in. I was looking at going lower (new shocks and springs) but since I am getting shocks for free I will wait and do it later. :P
  19. Well my car is in the shop today getting the work done. Lets see if replacing the front shocks does stop the rattle. I damn well hope so cause the noise is driving me insane B)
  20. Ummm... dunno where you got that idea from, but that's not how it works. Security codes are optional in Fujitsu Ten headunits, i.e. when a dealership delivers a new Toyota, they should advise the customer that they have the option of setting their own unique security code. If the code is forgotten, then it must be decoded by a Toyota service workshop or Fujitsu/Eclipse repairer. How come thats what toyota told me and it worked..?? :o
