  1. Jayme, you know I'm in Hope I can get my car resprayed before this comes round. We can get some sort of club thing going..
  2. I found alot of oil just sitting in my intake manifold before I got my catch can. So it made my choice in getting one much easier. I've caught quite a bit of crap in mine as well. CME-LFT: There actually isn't a catch can in the stock setup. It just goes from the pcv to the intake manifold. If I didn't already have one. I would definately buy this one as I meshed my own catch can (mine was empty inside). Ken buy one They are sexy!
  3. That's easier? I thought disconnecting one cable is much much easier..
  4. Kudos to and1 and jaderd. Why surprised and1? It is the easiest! :D I'll be doing this too I'm surprised no one thought of it before me :P Andy, you are a pioneer of the JDM tailight mod for the facelift :D Congrats :D Evo This is my legacy I leave you all of you :D
  5. Oh so you're going to the Toymods skidpan. I'll be there too. I'll try to say hi to you inbetween runs. If this event turns out to be a tuning arvo, I have a couple of mates keen.

  7. Have you decided whether you want to do a skid pan or tuning arvo yet?
  8. Haha I'm surprised my method is becoming more popular. Its the easiest way I think.
  9. I'm keen on this too. Not possible to book a tuning day?
  10. I didn't remove my spare as I am aware that they can get abit taily. It also achieved a little bit more front rake so alls good. I was getting way too much understeer yesterday. But I played with damper settings and it helped heaps. My best time of the circuit: 1min 5sec A R33 GTR doing the skidpan with me was doing 1min flat!! DC2R was doing 1min 5sec too.. Looking forward to getting my CAMS licence sometime soon B)
  11. Washed the car, then stripped the rear of my car for a skidpan event for Saturday. Managed to weigh the parts I removed using the bathroom scales: Sub and sub box- 13.5kg Amp- 2.5kg Total seat backrest and headrests- 14.5kg Seat cushions- 6.0kg Parcel tray- 1.5kg So total saving of 38.0kg :D Not bad.. Will have pics and vids of the event :)
  12. Perhaps when this has a confirmed date make a new thread in the events section? That way everyone will see it..
  13. I'm interested pending date.. So that means you haven't booked yet? I heard you have to book like 1-2 months in advance because most of the time its booked out. If you haven't booked, can I suggest a tuning day there instead :D
  14. Were the tyres cold when you inflated them at the servo? And warm when you got to the other place? Air pressure goes up as the tyres get warm you know, which is why you should always stick to either cold or warm pressures, and not mix the two Nitrogen has got to be the biggest **** in tyres these days. One, when you top up the pressure at a servo/wherever you're putting normal air in anyway, Two normal air is 70% nitrogen anyway, and Three if nitrogen leaks so much less than air, all you have to do is fill with normal air and wait for the oxygen to leach out leaving you with nitrogen anyway. For a race car, MAYBE it is worthwhile. For a road car, the extra $50 or whatever that the tyre place charges you for it is MUCH better spent on new spark plugs, oil change, or anything else which actually contributes to the health of your car. I agree with what Hiro has said here. Servo tyre inflaters are a bit off, not that much. Pretty sure they had to be calibrated before being put to use like that. If it is overinflated like that and the tyre blew or damaged itself the servo would somewhat be liable, so I doubt they are that off. Also theoretically nitrogen is a smaller molecule than oxygen, so therefore it would leak pressure at a faster rate. Race cars would use pure nitrogen because then pressures can stay more stable at high temperatures. Much higher than what street driven cars would even reach. Going abit off topic sorry. If you are looking for a new tyre, you should ask yourself whether longevity or performance is more important..

    Photoshop!!!!

I see you like fender vents.. Car can do without them..
  16. GReddy make a kit for the 2ZZ as well. Were you looking for stand alone or piggy back ecu?
  17. Good buy mate. Congrats.. Now it's time to start modding hahaa You know you can't resist
  18. Nulon product would have been Nulon G70. Just popped a tube into my gearbox when it was out. Def smoother but I'm still crunching because I don't think my clutch has been adjusted correctly.
  19. Yeah man. Probably going to this. Will see you there if I do! Sounds good big boy! Are you in the Stivo, or Swift or both???! Just me. Gf will be tied up. Gotta bring to Toyo to rep!! That sounds kinky! Can i watch?! For you, I'll make an exception ;)

  21. as bks said, offset makes abig difference.. i'v got +40 on my car with 215/45/17.. it started scrubing with pedders lows when they started to sag with stock shocks.. back is was fine, but scrubed at the front, as they got worse they started to butcher the inner plastic gard.. now i got coils,, no scrubbing.. if your offset is too agressive you might want to try say, 205/40's.. it MAY help.. You can also add more negative camber to perhaps avoid scrubbing if its on the guard. camber is not adjustable at the rear of a torsion beam corolla. Yes forgot to say that. But wil_rolla said he was scrubbing at the front.
