Facelift for sure :P
There are things you can do to make it more aggressive looking. Like meshing the front, blackening the headlights, eyelids, etc...
And who said that the meshed grill only applies to pre-facelifts ;) :P
Thanks. It was done by a guy named Harry. He lives around the Myaree area I didn't buy the vinyl as I didn't do the job. To me I prefer the matte black as it looks more track spec imo. To those who wanna try DIY, all I can say is good luck. They guy who did mine said its a hard job as there is that bulge at the front of the bonnet. Curves of that nature are difficult to do, but he did well and the results are awesome.
I went for the TWM short shifter, Bushings and Gear knob. I couldnt have been more happy with the quality and service. If you pop down to the next sydney meet you can have a test drive (im sure someone with a TRD one will give you a go to see the difference) X2 I got the exact same thing. Works wonders I tell you that. Also I think TWM is cheaper including the shipping..
Thanks man.
The D2 coilovers are height, camber and damper adjustable. I got them secondhand for around 500 B)
haha yeah yeah adrian. Might have to have a talk to your after chrissie :whistling:
Thanks man. Yeah thinking about that now. Bonnet cost 200.
Haha thanks ken. You're awesome too for doing my speakers :)
Thanks man. Yeah man gotta catch up soon eh. Welcome back!
Yeah I had that in my head a while ago. haven't got around to doing it yet.
Thanks man. Your pretty sexy yourself
Oh yeah I couldn't get the paint over the week. i'll try sometime this week. Sorry man :(
we did that on jeremys car painted the surrounds gunmetal to match his rims looked good Mind you we redid them in black jay. Looks bit meaner in black than in gunmetal.
Update.
Ok guys. Early this morning I got the 'cosmetic' upgrade done. I'll let the pics do most of the talking.
It's a vinyl overlay in matte black. I am very happy with the results :D
THEN AFTER
Went to Damo to get the D2 coils in. Just a quick snap of pics to show what happened.
Difference between front stock shock with Kings Low and front D2 coilover
Difference between the rears
Front installed
Rear installed
Hai being a tool
Barely clearing the ramp for wheel alignment :o
Overall very very happy with the D2s over the stock shock and Kings Lows. Yes there are niggles with the low speed noises but I still find them comfortable, perhaps even more so than compared to the stock shock/Kings Lows combo. Handles like a dream now :D
Still waiting for Whiteline rear sway to arrive B)
Jeff: Got them on eBay for like 80ish shipped :o . They seem really good so far. No probs whatsoever Here's the link to the store Ultra Vision HIDs Jayme: Already been through the hills with the HIDs. Still need the highbeam. I think they aimed a lil low atm. DJKOR: Voltage Stabilser cost me $25 shipped so yeah wasn't that much. But your right does pretty much crap all, not that I was expecting much from it. I just like the purdy blue lights :P Chicken: You just have to wait for the weekend to see what's happening ;) B)
Update
Installed the HIDs. Looks awesome. :D
Will take a photo of the lights.
Best of all they only cost 80 odd bucks shipped.
No flicker, stable colour. Just awesome B)
Haha thanks davi.
Rear sway is Whiteline 22mm.
Can't really feel a diff with the voltage stabiliser. But I think the lights dim less with it though.
I don't think I'll be getting rid of the eyelids anytime soon B)
Thanks mate
Hehe I hope it is. Might still need a rear strut bar
Haha nah mate all cheap stuff :P I'm Asian what else could you expect.
Hopefully the rear sway comes in before Saturday as coilies going in on sat morning, as is the cosmetic upgrade
Wait till I get my rear sway too
Oh I forgot to add. Thanks to Ken, I now have Clarion SRS1626 splits in the front. Just wired up to the HU through the stock wiring. Sounds soo much better than what the stocks were. I'm pretty much done with my audio now.
Money going elsewhere now
