The side mouldings are there to stop the vibrations through the door, stopping that sound. The only thing I can think of to stop it is maybe to put something like Dynamat inside the doors.

Hey Jase. i think I've said it a couple of times now but you can't go wrong with Westside Car Audio in Morley. They are brilliant at what they do and charge a fairly good price too. I had my Alpine HU installed for 80 bucks. And they had it installed in around 40 mins.

Make sure you have some masking tape on ya Simo. Coz your gonna have to tape up parts because the preface lights are different I think.

TRDYUS, I had adhesive left on the car after mine was taken off, but that was a rushed job. follow Danthuyer's method and you should be fine. Yes it is. I don't know why its happening now. Never happened in winter.

Haha x2. Mate if you really wanna silence it you will need a silencer (makes sense), which is a separate metal piece that goes inside your muffler tip. However you will lose some flow with a silencer on..

Mine has been fogging up for the last 2 weeks.. I'm thinking because I changed the parkers and didn't seal the light covers back up, but I checked it and double checked them <_< . I even tried to dry out the lights with a hairdryer, but as soon as I stopped they started fogging up again :( . So I'm guessing I need to get some silicone <_<

Update. Its been awhile, but got a few things since last time. -TRD high pressure radiator cap -Finally got the HU in. Alpine CDA-9885 with iPod connection. -Removed the door side strips... Dunno why my lights are fogging up soo bad. Never did in the middle of winter, even after doing the headlight mod.
