  1. Glad yous are safe and sound. Everywhere I drive I'm ALWAYS worried about the person behind me... I've been rear ended before and it's a scary and awful feeling. I almost got collected by a brand new Lexus 4x4 the other day I had stopped just after the lights due to traffic. This Lexus came too fast and I started to look out to right lane hoping to just bolt and he just stopped couple of millimetres off my boot lid. Stupid rich yuppie wasn't concentrating. He was too busy **** around on his mobile. This is also the reason I always try to go last in car cruises... just can't trust the driver behind me. I'd rather catch up than hold cars up. Cars can be replaced. Humans can't.
  2. dam that sucks. Sorry to hear Rowan... Unfortunately that's the way it goes for job security in the private sector. Just for those who are desperate for work... Perhaps looking for positions in Government would help you in the mean time just to get some sort of income. I know there are a lot of temporary and permanent positions going. Having some income is better than nothing in this time where economy and jobs have gone to sh!t.
  3. awesome pics Ash. Yah that place out Ascot is awesome spot for late arvo pics :D
  4. I'm sorry but this Supra wins it for me :D OR this one BUT then you can't go past this 2ZZ beast either hehehe
  5. dam it's looking in good nick still... it has some styles of an oldschool series Landcruiser. This must have been the start of them.

  7. Awesome pics Rowan. Looks like a well organised cruise by the_random_hero.
  8. spotted very nioce lowered and rear skirted white Corolla Sportivo with number plates ###JOV in the Valley last night in a car park around 11pm
  9. that's the E11 1998/1999 EURO Spec 3 door hatchback that is only sold in Europe (Obviously as JVN11L stated) Our version here is called the AE112 1999 5 door liftback that came only as a liftback and with a bodykit (front bar is a 2 piece set). Rollaboy's Corolla is that however he did the AE112R (late 1999-2001) face lift conversion to his front end. The AE112 1999 version didn't last in Australian market long until the AE112R face lift version came out. E11 is European. AE110/AE112 is Australian spec. The TTE front bar that you have is that just lower half of the front bumper... if so you'll need to purchase the 1999 AE112 upper front bumper as the 1999s front bar came as 2 piece unless you own a 1999 AE112 Corolla then just rip the bottom half off and attach :) Rollaboy should be able to confirm this...

  12. daym she is looking HOT! Just need to lower it now SecaBoy :D
  13. I'm sure I saw that one pass by me on Elizabeth Street today around 2pm or there abouts. The thing that got my attention was the cannon. I thought to myself 'I hope that guy ain't from around here'. haha I think it's a chick driver actually LOL judging by the mags... but you never know. Yeah I've seen it twice at my work in recent times. Oh BTW... Who was it... on Sunday night from 6pm onwards... don't remember around what time but on Gympie Road/Stafford Road? intersection at Stafford/Gordon Park/Kedron... I heard a Sportivo hitting LIFT off the lights. I was at a mates place on the balcony about 300-400 metres away and all I hear is a Sportivo hitting that LIFT goodness through 2nd and 3rd :D It was F*****G loud! lol
  14. the best example of supercharged gen 4.5 goodness I've ever seen :D BTW on the 2nd time I viewed the video I watched the fuel gauge... interesting haha...
  15. let's say i'm the envy of my mates down south in regards to the weather. I left just in time!!! staying in spring hill only got a rental but would love to join in cruises. Love them! :D :D Hopefully that rental is a Toyota at least :P I might be in for the cruise depending on what time I finish work and how knackered I am.
  16. haha I'm pretty sure Rowan hasn't got kids... which makes it a tad SUS :P OT: spotted Red Sportivo 03/04 at South Brisbane this arvo around 5pm... standard plates but with those ugly looking black altezza tail lights, cannon and 17"/18" chrome mags
  17. twincam.org but website is http://twincam.info http://sydneyrollaclub.com/
  18. RoM2nV: mate D.I.Y. is the cheapest form alrighty. And you asked for opinions and ideas in your first post... so why are you so... agro for? Cheapest mod in my opinion from watching my mates on auscam.org etc doing up their camrys from ground up... would be colour coding the rear garnish. it makes a huge difference to the look and all he would have spent all up would have been about $20... so if that ain't cheap enough for you then I don't know mate... Majority of that spent would have been to purchase the paint from Autobarn or the likes. I'll show you pics and you decide on your own. If you want to modify your car then you need to spend the money... nothing comes free in this world man. Check it out... notice the difference in colour from garnish to body? Oh another cheap D.I.Y. mod... eyelids... black paint for the backing and 2 coats colour on front... Same paint bottle he used for the rear garnish...
  19. some dumbass brought one of these (so he called it "supercharger) into my mate's work to get fitted to his VN commodore LOL. Apparently is was loud as hell. Haha I can imagine if the guy took it to a performance workshop and got it fitted... probably get ripped off huge LOL
  20. Love the responses... Spiker - "Sorry..." Pursuer - "Thanks..."
  21. Police drive any sort of cars these days that are quick enough to catch... But knowing what they drive serves no purpose to general drivers like us as we all "should" be obeying the law at all times. Ford Falcon (AUs, BAs, XR8s, FPV variants) Ford Territory Holden Commodore (Executives, SS - sedans & utes, HSV variants) Honda Accord Euro Mercedes Vito Mitsubishi 380 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Subaru Impreza WRX Toyota Aurion Toyota TRD Aurion Toyota Hilux Toyota Klugar Toyota Landcruiser and the list just goes on and on...
  22. Goodness me you sure have been busy Julez... I have few spots to mention that I have gone to shoot at... QUT Gardens Point (Under Carriage way car park) PRO: perfect for individualised photos rather than groupies. CON: may cause QUT security to make a visit when so many Corollas come zooming around the round about LOL Hamilton Peak (access from Sandgate Road, Clayfield or Hamilton...) PRO: street lighting... back views of city... plenty of parking and space if going up late at night CON: getting there = few massive speed bumps... maybe too bright? Shorncliffe area NOTES: few locations in this area... there's the popular pier and sort of beach (busy at night on occasions); Cabbage Tree Creek entrance car park (dimmed lighting, views of Brisbane cargo bays) and Cabbage Tree Creek boat ramp car park (pitch black no lighting) I'll try get photos of the locations sometime this week after work.
