  1. not bad time there man. How'd you launch? Using you're auto gears or just in Drive and pedal to the floor hard as? I'm sure you could knock off a few reaction times to get low 16s but yeah as ya said not much practice runs before hand. Arh well... there's always next time :P

very nice Rolla_Boy. I like the rims suits the silver colour nicely. Are you going to leave the front grill and eyelids black for or paint them later on? Looks alright leaving like that hehe JDM effect :P
  3. hey I'm Cheungah. I'm 22, live in Brisbane. I love long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners and Toyotas. LOL just kidding... I'm uni student studying Bachelor of Nursing. I used to own a Toyota Corolla AE92 SX hatch running 4A-GE 16v. Had all the usual mods of exhaust, short shifter, CAI, suspension, mags, slotted rotors, audio, etc etc etc. Owned it for 1 week and had it written off because of an a**hole who failed to indicate ran and nudged me sending me into a pole leaving me thank *** alive. As of last saturday I'm now a proud owner of another Toyota Corolla. An bone stock AE112R Ascent sedan 2000 model with 7A-FE 16v twin cam 1.8L but unforunately auto. I've got few definite plans for it for however long I own it but nothing too over the top as sedan's don't fancy many people. Cheers
  4. so whats the update? All that can be done is that your mate should try to speak to the seller. Best way to go about it. Have the RACQ report handy too. Might be able to work something out with the seller. But I'd say it'd be highly likely as the seller might not want to lose out on the money. Because I got my RACQ report done before I purchased my car last saturday. RACQ report didn't pick up anything about the left front disc/rotor requiring machining because it had bumps all over it causing squels almost every time I braked. Also the spare tire was said to be used and required new one when it was the originial one from Toyota and it had never been taken out. Nothing I can do about it though. So RACQ isn't really doing their job.
  5. stay away from getting modifying AE92 sedans... you'll have a very difficult time when selling. When purchasing cars you should also think about the reselling value, ease to sell and how long you hope to keep the car for.

  7. I chose the sedan because it is different and handles better than the liftback in my opinion. I was also influenced by this Hong Kong AE110 Sedan and this Corolla AE111 GT. I only wish Australia got the AE111 GT sedan with 20v Black Top. Such a pity Australia always gets the downgraded stuff Just bought from the car yard... What's been done...
