I voted for that for Best Exterior. Loved how the sticker design ran from the bonnet into the car dash LOL. Still I wish some other AE112 owners turned up... but yeah meh!

Carbon clean I think is more effective than fuel injector cleaner. I tried this out at my mates workshop about month or 2 ago including changing fuel filter and fuel pump as part of my 100k service.

1990 AE92 Corolla SX hatch (4A-GE 16v manual)... wrote that off a week after I bought it (thanks to idiots who don't indicate, don't shoulder check, attempting to cross 3 lanes whilst taking me out and going for a runner) Saved up for ages and bought my current car last year August. 2000 Corolla AE112R Ascent sedan (7A-FE but auto this time...)

Thanks to the organisers for an well organised and awesome weekend. I was very impressed with the Corolla Sportivos... especially on Sunday... my *** talk about gutsy. Pity though there was no other AE112s over the weekend :( Anyhows here's my pics from the weekend... haha haven't updated my thread in a long time. Um yeah I've got King Low Springs & KYB Excel G Twin Tube shocks in now but thinking about swapping for King Super Lows for 60mm drop. Have AE101 Levin front strut bar and AE112R 2 piece Levin front lower spoiler installed. have redone the intake with fresh piping from front bar to airbox with K&N panel filter. Exhaust I plan to go for Powerflo muffler and single tip, 2" pipe to Powerflo high flow cat. That'd be about it for engine mods until the 7A dies in I will go for 1ZZFE, Eaton supercharger and manual setup. Audio I have Alpine 9885 headunit with custom backing/surrounds, Alpine 500w (662w) mono block, Alpine 12" Type R sub, Kicker wiring kit and soon to come Alpine 5 1/4" or 6.5" spilts... depends which one fits... DanA would you shed some light on sizing of the speakers in front and rear... my fronts are crackling at the moment so I'll be needing new ones soon... so whats the size... I doubt 6.5 speaker would fit.

I will be there Saturday for cruise to North Lakes Show and Shine (camera snappy :D) and for Sunday cruise as well.

I definitely recommend a nice suspension setup is best for the sedan... absolutely awesome around bends compared to the liftback. Definitely get either a Genuine Levin front spoiler (2 peice + 6 clip-bolts) or Sportivo front spoiler painted. What I started with was intake... K&N panel filter and rerouting new piping from airbox to front bar. Then moved onto 17" wheels and lowering 35mm with King springs & KYB shocks. There's lots of things you can do... I found my ideas from cardomain.com as well. where abouts are you located? I know there's 2 white AE112 sedans rolling around Brisbane that are dumped.

haha not much performance out of the 7A-FE. It's only for economy. You can do cold air intake like member on here Poggy did and 2.25" exhaust, extractors, etc for basic mods. Then if you want to get nitty and gritty... either go all out on the 7A with G heads from 4AGE, or do engine swap for 20v black top... I'm at the moment thinking about 2ZZ-GE transplant... got to get around to asking the experts though when I get the chance...

nice, i also have a AE112 but "99" still saving up for my stereo, and looking for a good body kit, but havnt found a nice one yet. well you can update the front end like BNS70Y has... but won't be cheap LOL not many kits really suit the AE112. genuine is best!

mine is a work in progress :D already with King Lows and KYB excel-Gs., cold air intake, waiting on Levin front grille, don't know whether i want the Levin lip or Sportivo lip... already debadged... and maybe in future plans for 2ZZ-GE transplant :D

look on top of the headlight housing... the black part... you should see a few codes... look for one that starts with H... Rolla_Boy should be able to help you out as he used to have these before he changed his front end to facelift. Alternatively if you still can't figure that out go to Autobarn and get the guys to come out and they will know where to look. I've got a feeling they maybe HB4s...
