  1. Here you go :P http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100756 This should have all the info you need and more, hope it helps :)
  2. That'd be cool if you could... from the descriptions on the fuse cover, I couldn't pick it... I haven't had time to look at the fuses again myself yet. Probably wont now til the weekend again. At least the fuses are easy to check for continuity... Sorry it's taken so long but I've been very busy :P I had a look and the fuse for the parkers is just next to the fuse for the brakes, marked driving lights. Although it occured to me that if that fuse was the cause, your rear driving lights would also be out as they use the same fuse.
  3. I'm pretty sure there's no warning light for parkers, only for brakes as far as I know. The fuse for the parkers is in the cabin I just can't remember exactly which one, I'll try an have a look for you 2moz when it's daylight :P
  4. It really depends on what profile your running to how much PSI should be reccomended. I run 38 PSI on both front and rear but that's with 225/45R17's, A larger tyre and I would lower the PSI :P
  5. 98 as a standard :) I find I get way better economy and throttle response using higher octane fuels.

I bought what was quite possibly the last GTP kit Toyota had:P

    Damn man...that sux :(
  8. I think it should be fine. We installed an aftermarket alarm/Imobiliser on an 31 Skyline and it still works with the factory key so it "should work" :P

I just sort of eased it off from the front, If I remember correctly it had a couple of pegs to hold it in and thats it.
  10. ^^^Correct :) Also it's a very common problem on the Gen4 where the boot lights go out for no reason ie the bulbs are fine, fuse fine ect. The reason for this is, as already mentioned the wiring gets old and has some internal brakes in it. I used to have to sorta knock on the boot lights from the outside a few times to get them working :P
  11. This may be a silly question but have you checked the bulbs, also is the light out indicator in the speedo cluster on ?? The gen4 camry trim is very easy to take off, just 2 screw clips and 2 push clips and you can pry em out a bit to get some space to work with.

Ummmm you can just unclip the toyota emblem :P You did a damn good job on the masking even though it's somewhat pointless :D
  13. Wow I didn't know that. Definatly glad I got the straight through glass pack if that's the case :D

Lol exact same idea I had for my gen4 grille :P although I was tossing up between maybe keeping the middle bar, doesn't matter anymore GTP FTW :D If I where you Id'e go to a paint shop and have them mix it up to your code, maybe even a panel beater would do it for you. It will be a lil more expensive but the paint will actually match rather than the junk cans at most Auto stores. But if your set on going cheap just look for OKa paint code which is the pre 2000 diamond white on my car, it should be the same :)

It's just two bolts then slide it backwards slightly then upwards...too easy :) BTW you can get body colour grilles from factory so maybe just call around a few wreckers and see if you can get one cheap :D
  16. The best way I've found is to just punch a small hole through the large rubber plug that the factory wiring loom goes through and run it with the factory wires. This way there's no drilling and also when uninstalling there's no holes in the firewall that shouldn't be there :)

If you have a Gen4.5 your going to have an easier time than with the gen4 due to the slats being further spread apart and the top one being higher than on a Gen4. So all in all it should be a piece of cake for you cause I'm pretty sure you have a 4.5 :P I never ended up actually finishing modding my Gen4 grill as I've got the mesh one that comes with the GTP Sportivo kit but if you want any pointers on the idea I had just hit me up and I'm happy to help :)
  18. Nice work Adam :D Mine next OK lol :P Man that looks awesome, gotta love the US coupes.
  19. I had a similar problem on my old I4 where they would leave palm nuts on my engine block which would lodge into the grooves in the housing and ignite after a while of driving....scary engine fire :P However for some reason they stopped doing it after continuous weeks of trying to remove the nusts from the housing, Only thing I did was change the location slightly of where I was parking and it seemed to work.
  20. IMO it looks better with the spoiler but that's just me. I actually put a spoiler on the rear of mine cause it seemed like it was missing something after putting on the bodykit but that's on a gen4 too and once again just my opinion.
  21. My first thought would have been the fluid but as you've said that's fine. Id'e take a drive around to a steering specialist an just have a talk to em, tell them the simptoms and see what they have to say, with a bit of luck it will be something very minor as your car has pretty low Kms.

    ECT & O/D

98 FTW :D No matter which fuel you use it shouldn't affect your rpms when compared to a different fuel though.
  23. There has to be a problem with your steering rack then, or hopefully something minor like a worn pwr steering belt :(
  24. you must drive it like an old woman to get that! :P i've never gone for a strictly freeway drive, so i don't know my maximum range Quite the opposite actually When I do (rarely) take it easy on the gas I usually get around 1000Km+ from a full tank, but after having said that my car is heavily modified which is where a some of those extra Kms come from and being a 5 speed also helps :P
  25. Honestly in my gen4 (same engine) I wouldn't use anything other than 98 oct. Iv'e had this car for years and years now and found that only 98 oct fuel can get me up to 850Km a tank, aside from the fact that using lesser fuels makes my car seem sluggish and higher octane fuels also contain cleaning additives. But this is just my experience, I'm sure others would argue that it makes no difference :P
