i think the cascade blue on the sportivo is a different shade mick... so you wouldnt quite match it...

yeah i think i might give the car a clean and get some piccies... in regards to getting them made - my girlfriend got one made up at christmas time at some place in castle hill and she reckons it costs like 17 bucks, and you just give them your CD of pics and choose a design... 17 bucks is a damn sight cheaper and easier than getting em sent over from america... ill investigate further..

dont get me started on P plate laws... basically: P1 = red Ps... currently this means you can't go above 90km/h, and you can't drive any turbo or supercharged cars, nor can you drive performance 6s, and no V8s... P2 = green Ps... same deal, but you can go 100km/h, and you can tow up to a certain amount of weight. on both the alcohol tolerance is 0%... now the government is trying to bring in new rules which basically say "red P platers can't drive their car until they become full license holders"

i prepared myself for that, but when you actually have to cut the tops of the air dams off to clear the support bar that runs behind the bumper, i wouldnt say its a "close fit".. i've spent forever cutting bits out, trial fitting, heating and bending the glass to fit... its like that didnt even use a mould, they just looked at a picture on the internet and away they went... at the end of the day, it was about 700 bucks cheaper than buying the real thing in plastic, and whilst its been a massive headache, i havent spent 700 bucks in time fixing it up, so i still reckon its worth it.. having said that, if anyone does decide to go with carmate, do NOT get them to install it - they will simply cut the support bar of your chassis, leave gaps around the headlights, and go "fibreglass doesnt fit 100%... that'll be $400"... what a joke...

agreed... if you want them to stand out, go white.. im not a fan of gold wheels on a black car either... white or silver if anything...

yeah thats what im worried about too... alot of cars and only 12 months... how bout this- we either use this thread or start another, and everyone puts up the pic/pics (max of say 3) they think should/could be on the calendar. then one of the mods should take charge and everyone should send a PM to them saying which pic they want in there (1 vote only), and im pretty sure we'll have at least 12 different votes... and off we go... give it a week or so nomination/voting time... from today till like... 12th or 13th feb... then hopefully the calendars will be in for the beginning of march...

we should do nominations... rule: you cant put your own car pic up... AND... we shouldnt have ALL stivos... done 1ZZ's... and maybe a sedan

nah i know the TRD intake has some crazy tube hole thing, but the only thing that was on my stock intake was the maf sensor.. pretty sure its just the stivo with that crazy vacuum pipe.. anyone got an idea for a 1zz?

im a gauge slut, and i wanna get a vacuum gauge... i stuck my head in the engine bay today, and couldnt find anything that resembled a vacuum line... any ideas where it is?

hahahaha no that was charms - she didnt wanna be in it at all, but we figured after the shot we had when her car was the centrepiece of our semi-circle of rollas, we should put her in the middle again... and the hazards at the same time thing was a crazy shutter delay or something people have on their fancy cameras... it kinda captures everything that happens in a certain time, so you know how you get those photos of freeways at nights, and its just that squiggly line of light... its that thing... i dont really know cameras... anyway.. it was a top meet, had heaps of fun!
