  1. Guys, sorry if I went missing from Safety Bay onwards. I actually got lost on the way to the second last stop (GPS wasn't very helpful, plus I have a bad sense of direction.), so I went straight to the last stop instead. Anyways, here are the photos (Including photos of food!). Starts from top row, page 5, second from right. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?page=5&a...mp;id=661728346
  2. LOL I wonder how much HP does the M5 badge add. hehe btw, spotted today, Greddy_ES's MR2 @ Briggs Street, Welshpool. :P
  3. MKV Golf GTI owner comes across a stuck lug bolt, saws through wheel, posts on Honda-Tech. Hilarity ensues. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2684546
  4. My dad placed a piece of the warped plaster board on the hood of the RAV4 which made me really mad. Looks like I need to give it a good wash, inspection, polish and re-wax the spot first thing in the morning. Noticed some white residue on the plastic trim & the hood. :(
  5. lol Shipment of my dad's stuff from Bangkok (And some of mine.) might come on that day. That, and my parents are pretty strict. Will see how it goes. :)

  7. 1. Currently, ISOFIX harnesses aren't ADR compliant, so the Aurion (Including every Aussie market and Parallel/ Personally-imported cars.) get ADR approved child restraints. I do know that some of the European cars have both ISOFIX (Factory) & ADR (Most likely installed locally or from the factory.) child restraints. Even though they are illegal, some owners use the ISOFIX child seats as they give a better peace of mind than the ADR-compliant items. 2. I guess you could always use a bike rack. 1. I'm not really experienced in this area, hope others can chime in here. 2. You could try City Toyota or Melville Toyota. Bought our RAV4 from the latter (Melville). Dealer's good, but I wouldn't recommend their service center, (They aren't what they used to be.). If you're servicing a brand new car or if it is still under warranty, I heard City Toyota is good. 3. We do have RAC in Perth, in the form of RAC WA (Refer to link below.). http://rac.com.au/Motoring/Auto-services/V...appraisals.aspx
  8. Hmmm... Bring in the Avensis as a Personal import? :D On a serious note, just like the others. I'll recommend the Aurion or the Camry (Similar to the Aurion, but with a different front/rear & a four cylinder engine.) On another note, Toyota will release the Camry Hybrid down under next year (February 2010.). If you are not in a hurry, I'd suggest checking that out. http://goauto.com.au/mellor/mellor.nsf/sto...A25763F000BF884 EDIT: Spelling mistake
  9. Was it a 5 Door Yaris and is the license plate somewhere along the lines of 1D** ***? If it is, then I saw the same car at Curtin (Visitor's car park.). :)
  10. Eee..... Kawaii ne... :D Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  11. Spotted today. Red Facelift Corolla Sportivo with blacked out front Toyota emblem & smoked Altezza style clear tails (1 CDS 517). Looks clean! Anyone know the owner?
  12. Eh? Wha... lol. *Shy* I wouldn't really call myself an expert :D. I'm just an ordinary guy that loves doing research on cars.
  13. i think its an allex emblem but wasnt aware they stick on the rear unless it was diy hey jeremy look at those headlight washer covers on the wagon :D Hhahaha :P fake much ? xD i might be real, some jdm rollas had HID reflectors from factory Some model were equipped with HIDs, but didn't have washers, as there's no requirement for it in Japan, only reflectors or projectors designed for HID with either Auto or Manual leveling (In-cabin control.). Washers & Auto-leveling with HID headlights are mandatory in Europe, which is also adopted down under. If the washers are real (Not an LX-Mode stick on washer cover.), they would be from a European-spec Corolla with the OE Headlight Washer System (Not sure if it was an option is some countries, or if they were standard in snowy regions though. European Corollas didn't have Factory HID.).
  14. Oval A= Toyota Allex Front Grille Emblem (A renamed Corolla hatchback which replaced the Toyota Sprinter sedan before it & was only sold through Toyota's Netz dealer network.). Now replaced by the Auris (Which also replaced the Corolla RunX there.). The Allex has a chrome rear license plate garnish, as you can see in the photo. A15= Toyota Allion grade emblem (JDM Liftback, loosely based on the same platform as the Caldina, Euro/ JDM/ NZ Avensis Sedan/ Wagon & Scion tC. Available as a 1.5, 1.8 Petrol or 2.0 Direct Injection Petrol). G Edition= Another Toyota grade in japan and some markets in the South East Asian region. Usually used for an in between or top spec model (e.g. RAV4J X 'G Edition' or Vellfire 3.5Z 'G Edition') & Special Edition (e.g. Estima AERAS G-Edition or Corolla Altis 1.8G Limited). Emblem next to 'G-Edition'= Either a Linea Sol or Linea Terra emblem (Hard to tell which one it is as the picture is too small.). Used in certain European countries. Square orange emblem- 'WiLL' emblem. Was one of Toyota's JDM only brand.Something to do a marketing exercise with other companies selling products under the WiLL brand (Non-car products include' WiLL Beer, WiLL Fridge & WiLL PC to name a few.). Cars include; WiLL Vi (1st model. Retro-styled sedan based on the Toyota Vitz/ Platz), Will VS (2nd model. Based on a shortened Corolla Fielder platform. Regarded as a 5 Door Celica, styling was ahead of its time.) & WiLL Cypha (3rd and last model under the WiLL brand. Hatchback based on the Toyota Vitz) Man, I have waaaaaaaaaay too much time in my hands.
  15. I've never seen your car chicken. U never come to the cruises! Haha. :P next time we cruise.. meeting point will be at his house xD hahahaha Haha Good one! Should do a barbecue at Chicken's place! :P btw, walked past a black Corolla Sportivo with 'XIAOBEI' custom plates. Could see swirls on the black paintwork of what is a cleanly modded car. :(

  18. First previewed as the Auris HSD Concept at Frankfurt, here's what we can expect in Australia. A facelift for the JDM-only Toyota Blade (Upscale version of the Auris.) will follow. New to the Japanese market is a sporty 'RS' grade, with 6 speed Manual (Previously, only CVT was available with both 1.5 & 18 engines for JDM.), body kit, red illuminated Optitron gauges, sports suspension (10 mm lower) and optional 17 inch wheels (Like the the previous gen. Corolla Fielder/ RunX Z 'AeroTourer' & Allex RS180, alloy wheels were optional.). Auris RS 180G/ 150X Interioir shown in Beige Regular Auris 150X/ 150X 'M Package'/ 180G Toyota Japan Auris Website Toyota Japan Auris Customize Car Toyota Japan Auris Genuine Accessories Note: Was going to post up a link to the brochure, but the Gazoo page for the Auris isn't fully updated yet (At time of posting.).

  20. I actually like this. Can't wait for the production version. Btw, here's a virtual driving footage of the FT-86. If only I have a PS3 & Japanese copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. ;) http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/06/video-t...gran-turismo-5/

  25. So I guess that makes the Presara more of a mid size sedan with features normally found on high end executive cars (Not that it's bad thing.). Yeah, seeing that the Aurion & Thai Camry share the same body & interior, I can't see why Toyota Australia wouldn't offer more accessories from Thailand (They have things like HUD, Extra wood trim, body kit, Wood/ leather gear knob & etc.). In the South East Asian markets, manufacturers (Particularly the Japanese.) offer all sorts of Genuine Accessories. The list is almost as long or the same as what you'll find in the JDM market. Wish it was the same with the rest of the range too. The clear taillights & headlights of the Thai Camry Hybrid has a very light blue tint on the housing. Notice the red bit on the inner tail light, those are rear fog lights. MY10 Aurion Sportivo owners could always exchange their smoked clear taillights with the Thai Camry owners and give it a light smoke tint. :)
