  2. *Slaps myself for not reading the other thread* Yup, I can go (Hope they don't change their mind.). Will bring some Thai Toyota brochures to the meet. :) TF
  3. oh my ***............ http://chinacarforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3992 http://modifiedcherryqq.blogspot.com/
  4. Hmmm... at Burswood? Wouldn't be able to join the AHG performance driving course, as my parents enrolled me into another course. I might or might not be able to join in (The Burswood meet.), depends on my parent's decision. Don't have a Rolla though (Got a RAV4. It's related platform wise, but...)
  5. Nice choice there mate! I wished I could afford one (One day...). :) One thing though, try to get the compliance workshop to disconnect the factory HID lights (Which are standard on the GT4 variants, do not get them to destroy it! So that you can reinstall them after compliance & inspection.), or if it already has auto leveling, add aftermarket headlight washers (To make it legal down under & keep the cops/ inspection centers happy.). A lot of Skylines & Stageas with factory HIDs got them removed, destroyed & rebased with Halogen bulb holders during compliance as they didn't have auto level & washers (I know, the rules don't make sense. Wished we have the same freedom as the Kiwis, or at least, exceptions for parallel imports that came with them from the factory.).
  6. in my country! Apparently from Singapore (Notice the ERP Infrared Unit on the windshield.). http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/24/another...bites-the-dust/ http://jalopnik.com/371315/new-nissan-gt+r...malaysia-we-cry http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22135 Not surprised, encountered quite a number of Singapore-registered cars that treat our highways like race tracks once they go across the border. For the GTR, all I can say is, Ouch.
  7. and they used my favorite car, a Toyota bB! :D :) http://jalopnik.com/370838/japanese-game-s...+parking-skills
  8. Best. Show. EVER! Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!

(Thailand/ Malaysia) (Replace our current Estima L 2.4G with the 3.5G) Future (Aussie) + + (Malaysia) (The upcoming replacement, not the current one.) (Thailand) http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-...408106_4355.jpg + http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-...402156_9478.jpg + (But in Lime Green) http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-...369046_6766.jpg :D
  10. heheh... True that! I haven't update my MySpace page in a while! (Still the same Toyota Vanguard theme.) FaceBook is "just" better! :P

  12. No pics, but anyways, here I go (Was carrying shopping bags.). Saw a bog-standard Honda Jazz 1.5SV with HKS & TRD stickers on the side skirt!
  13. In the case of the 1st gen. model, then yes. The 2nd gen. models aren't related anymore. The 2008 Scion xB (Larger & with the 2.4 2AZ-FE engine to satisfy the Americans.) is sold as the Corolla Rumion in Japan (With the 1.8 2ZR-FE.). Rumion http://toyota.jp/corollarumion/index.html bB http://toyota.jp/bb/index.html Scion xB http://www.scion.com/#xB
  14. My favorite feature of this car, the illumination rings (With three selectable settings.). Coincidentally, the bB was reviewed by Bangkok Post! http://www.bangkokpost.com/080208_Motoring...08_motor005.php Just in case if the link to the article expires, here's the whole article;
  15. While taking pics of the Corolla Altis, I also found my dream car, the Toyota bB (Not the Lime Green one though, I love that color!). Pictured below is the 1.5Z "Q Version" (Top-spec). Front (With the optional gloss black grille. Has blue LEDs in them.) Rear (Love that JDM Privacy Glass!) The Optitron gauges & illumination rings light up the moment I open the door (Car came equipped with Smart Entry & Keyless Start.).
  16. Suay! (I hope I'm using the right word...) Nice Camry! B) I love it in Pearl White! Saw an unmodded one in this color in Siam Square. Classy... :)
  17. Gong Xi Fa Cai! No "Yee Sang" in Thailand, unfortunately... :( (I'm half Chinese btw.)
  18. I hate to admit it, but I used to listen to their songs as a kid... :o *Hides in the closet.*
  19. Random images.... LED tail lights (Just wondering, does the Aussie Corolla sedan have them?). The trunk. Power folding mirrors are standard across the range (Or at least in the cars I sat in. Not sure about the J grade, as it wasn't on display). Orlando Bloom, the new ambassador for the Corolla Altis. Brad Pitt was the ambassador for the previous gen. Corolla Altis minisite Corolla Altis Interactive Brochure Previous model 2006 Facelift (Taiwanese version, but the Thai version is the same, just without the Corner Sonar & the steering wheel is on the wrong side.) Brochure 2004 Facelift 2004 Brochure 2001 I'll post the 2008 accessories brochure later tomorrow, they have other interesting stuffs in there. TF Which is why Toyota's Optitron gauges is my favorite till today (Especially the recent ones.). They look really classy & are easy on the eyes (Not too bright & no glare.). I've never seen the Aussie Corolla Ultima gauges in person, so I'm not very sure (But it looks 3D from pics.). btw, the Blade has the MID screen in the centre, rather than on the left (Clock) & right (Odo/ trip/ gear indicator). Yup, this is the newer version of the one sold back in Msia. The rear tail lights remind me of the original 2001 model (The circular reverse & amber indicator lights.). Will be launched in March back home. :)
  20. Altis 1.6G Similar to the 1.8E, minus wood trim & Auto Climate Control. Has a single disc player, instead of the in-dash 6 disc changer. All 1.6 models get simple (But still nice looking.) 15 inch alloys (vs. 16 inch on the 1.8). Next Post: Random, but Corolla Altis related pics...:D
  21. Altis 1.8E (Same as the 1.8G, but without HID, VSC & powered driver's seat.) The good ol' ZZ engine.:) Next Post: Altis 1.6E
  22. Genuine Accessories display cabinet (Part II). DVD Player (With Remote) + Optional Reversing Camera. Corner Sonar Sensor (I like the display, similar to the one in our Estima, minus the reverse sensor indicator. I want this for my RAV4!). Corolla Altis Scuff Plate (Different from the one in the 1.6G/ 1.8G). Corolla Altis Sports Pedal set (M/T) + Front grille upper & lower chrome garnish piece in the background. Toyota Premium Horn. Corolla Altis Sports Pedal set (M/T), scuff plates, TPMS, front grille upper & lower chrome garnish piece & Toyota Premium Horn. Next Post: Altis 1.8E
  23. Genuine Accessories cabinet (I spent hours staring at them! hee hee...) Seat Hook (Attaches between the seat & head rest. The two metal rods, not sure what it's called.). Toyota Aroma Therapy Kit (Apparently a popular JDM accessory. First time this thing is officially offered outside of Japan, according to the sales person.). Air Purifier with Plasmacluster ion technology (Mounts on roof). Wood Trim Kit (Dark). Light wood trim is also available, was fitted to the 1.6E posted earlier. Tire Pressure Monitoring System Next Post: Genuine Accessories display cabinet (Part II).
  24. The Corolla Altis 1.6E, fitted with genuine accessories. No pics of the side skirt from this car, but I'll post the ones from a 1.8E in another post (Same design.). Yup, no airbags for the 1.6E in Thailand. Next Post: Pics from the Genuine Accessories display cabinet. Arghhh...... Kept getting "500 - Internal Server Error" from ImageShack. Must be the apartment's broadband connection (Never had this problem back in Perth!).
