  1. HAHA I lover that video. If you go to the silvia forum, you can find a modified version of the vid. It shows that only commodores and falcons having errectile problems. They show imports drifting with people saluting with a staright arm LOL
  2. Wohoo ive finally been spotted :yahoo:
  3. That K24 CRX is now dead. Blown motor, belongs to sexc_rolla brother. But hear that its getting resurrected in time. I love my PS and A/C. Whereas my mates say its just added weight  . Well in summer ill be in nice a/c when they have their windows down
  4. That is a very ignorant comment to make... You have obviously been at Binladens for a few years..... Do a bit of research and you will see that not only in the US but here in AUS theres a ALOT of mildly moded (not race, but street) cars running low 12s N/A 2.4lt and under. True True. You really have to be careful with civics these days. So many K20/K24 conversions on the road its scary, put majority of turbo cars to shame.
  5. O YES. A supercharged stivo on sydney streets plus its a facelift :yahoo:
  6. Thought I would bump this up. Just found out C-ONE has a new type-R flywheel, it is only 4kg compared to the older 4.5kg.
  7. Thanks dylan, for the extra information
  8. Hi fellow TOCAU members, I have been doing some research on headers availible for our 2ZZGE corollas, thought I would just post up what I have found including pictures for anyone that is interested. TRD: Similar to the stock headers, just with longer primary pipes. Gains expected in top end power CONE: Im not to sure about these. Im looking at rollamods for answers in regards to these headers, I think they are a 4-1 design from the picture. CES: These items are just the stock headers ported and polished with HPC coat. Gains expected in low to mid range power Just a quick question to those with the TRD headers, is that little square hole in the headers for air injection?? I cannot see one in the C-one headers. If someone has a picture of the CES headers please post them up so I can add it. I cannot find the old CES thread with the pictures.
  9. Looks very nice mate. Just curious how many finger gaps is between the tyre and wheel arch??
  10. Your problem lies in your tyre choice. 215/45/17 is way too big and will scrub when cornering if your car is lowered. The best size to ensure no scrubbage is 215/40/17, I use to run this profile on my 17s lowered on coilovers and had no problems whatsoever.
  11. When I first got my 05 sportivo stock offcourse, I ran into one at the M5 tollgates. We both saw each other and punched it. Being a new sportivo owner, i couldnt land the 1-2 change. But i managed to stay right behind the Cooper S. I did lag when I waited for lift to engage. Stock for stock a cooper S has a better chasis and lower centre of gravity which is a win. Just some food for thought
  12. Are you guys serious when you say the car ride is harsh and stiff. These cars suspension are tuned for road use so have comfort in mind, in comparison to a BMW maybe the ride is harsher, but that is due to the price differences.
  13. Everytime you line up a civic, you never know whats under the hood. The EG civics are very light, plus the ease of honda engines being swapped is awesome. Nice sleeper indeed mate
  14. The twinloop is a quiet muffler, I have it myself but I do think it is restrictive. I use to run a magnaflow muffler but it was a little on the noisy side. The magnaflow was more free flowing especially in the higher rpms, whereas with the twinloop the car feels like its is strugging in the higher rpms. I run a 2.5 inch system and i believe the problem is in the secondary loop, the twinloop has a 2.5inch inlet but I was told that the secondary loop actually decreases in size to a 2.25inch pipe. Having tried these two mufflers, I will say the magnaflow is the better, as the car feels alot more lively and willing in the high rpms.
  15. My car is a black facelift lowered on bronze rims, with rear eyelids as well, I think that is what you saw.
  16. Hey dude, do you live in the chester hill area, as I have seen your car a few times around. Im in a black facelift stivo....
  17. Very nice....My bro had a SP23 before and the build quality on the mazdas is awesome. The MPS must make the stivo feel like a snail in comparison. Only downside is that it is FWD, but I have read that these babies are boost limited on the first 2 gears to control torque steer......
  18. Get the RE001. I have had them for a while now and I must say they are the best street tyre money can buy. I had all the suspension goodies which I thought was excellent, but after getting these tyres, the car performs on a whole new level.
  19. The CES system looks good and performs just as well. I regret not just buying the CES system to begin with, as the amount of money I have spent on exhausts has exceeded the price of a CES unit.
  20. hey dude, i saw your car at the meet. Did you respray your rims? Or are they just dirty hahah
  21. I have Bride ERGO 2 drivers seat with a Bride rail made for our cars. Its excellent as I found the stock seats were bad at holding me in corners.
  22. Brand new from APS, they vary from $700-800
  23. I find it hard that many find it difficult to maintain lift on the 1-2 change. There is not much you can do wrong, besides hit the shifter gate and grind . I must admit our stock shifter feels horendous, but it is adequate. You wont get the silky smooth shift like in a honda S2000. If guys with 18s are able to do this, you should not have any problems. Practice makes perfect, but watch out as its double Demerits this weekend.
  24. The answer to your question is a thicker rear sway bar. It makes a world of difference.
