Im looking at some new rims and wondering what tyre size do I need for a 17x7.5. Will my current 215/40/17 fit onto the new rims? Also are 7.5inch wide legal??? Any help appreciated

Your running on pretty hard damping, you should soften the front so you are not skipping on the road. You need traction, I believe their is a misconception that having really stiff settings equals awesome handling. The car reacts quicker but doesnt mean its faster. There are quite a few members now running coilovers. Can people please post your coilovers and settings. To help members Coilovers: G4 Spring Rate: 7kg (front)/5kg (Rear) Damping setting: 3 front and 6 rear Other handling mods: TRD rear sway and Cusco front strut Ive experimented and found this to be the ideal setting for comfort and performance on sydney streets, which are quite bad. I use to run stiffer when i didnt have a rear sway, but after getting it i noticed i could run softer damping and still maintain good handling

I think you misunderstood the point. The final gear will give better acceleration but you will not lose top end power. What the others are referring to is that at a higher speed you will be revving alot higher than normal. Our 2zzge stock on the highway in 6th gear at 120kph is revving at 4000rpm so with the C-ONE gears it will be higher revs than this.

It seems to be cheaper if you get your springs from the installer. The going price is $350 installed with Kings springs

Hey Xploshun, TRUST ME ON THIS go through your insurance. I have been through a similar thing and the guy just kept stuffing around and making excuses. I just called my insurance company and they dealt with the whole thing. There is no point wasting your time and energy going through this crap, that is the reason you pay for your insurance. At least if you take it to your insurnace company its a qualified panel beater with life time warranty. Im just warning you of what can happen, cause when my insurance company chased this guy who hit me, he called police saying he had lost his licence and all this crap he made up. I was called into the police and this guy was such a shifty BAR%TARD, he wasted my time as I even took a day off work to meet him and resolve the issue and he didnt turn up. PLEASE go through your insurnace, I dont want you to go through what i had to. My insurance dealt with everything and I had no headaches after. Sorry for the long post.....

I think this should be your first MOD, as its cheap to do and makes a noticable difference in the car handling.

Well I just installed the rear swaybar that I got off Dylan and I must say I cant believe the difference it has made in cornering. I regret not doing this first, the car around corners now feels so flat and stable. Understeer has also been reduced. I have Coilovers and a front strut already, but this was the icing on the cake. If you are considering upgrading your suspension, I think this is a must have MOD.

Very nice Bangn, let see if you can beat my mates ITR 13.6 1/4 mile with basic bolt ons. Im sure you know them Benson, FLY and Fatboyz from ozhonda. Sexy engine bay shot and love the MUGEN intake its $$$$. Ill rate your engine close to Duys aka(barefootbonzai) just do a nice wire tuck and shes as sweet.

Aye Dugong your car should be on par with a stock or mild modded stivo now. I remember reading that Influx stivo was even with grimlocks car. But his car was manual, does being auto sap some power away from the trd supercharger??

The sucking noise is normal you hav nothing to be worried about. Once its warmed up its sweet as. My car since installing the CAI on start up coughes and chokes sometimes but after letting it warm up for 1-2 min it good. The sucking is even louder on a very cold day or early morning.

I recommend you go 17s only for looks, otherwise choose 16s for performance. I think these rims are pretty heavy, have a look at Blue_Stivo car, he has some light weight starcorp rims for sale.
