  1. Thanks Guys for your Best Wishes. I don't feel 40.... :( :( :(
  2. Well the springs are ordered for the Honda (Had to go KMAC as they are the only ones that do Custom springs to order without charging like wounded Bulls) and should be in on Saturday just in time for the meet at Egene's see you there.
  3. Nah that link is all wong Craig Does not look like anything we have..
  4. LED's work fine for except for the Clock and the Air Con displays I had them on my Rolla, and have done them for other people as well. They have a nice colour and the beauty about them they have a massive life span. For the Clock and Aircon displays you will have to use the Narva Condoms or the model paint. The radio well... I used an after market radio in my car so did not bother changing them.
  5. ILIVFOR6 And I will be there as well. See you there.
  6. It takes roughly two weeks from Bruce. Credit Card but ring him and ask.. Insurance company normally ok but a question you need to ask them not us cause ultimatly they are the ones paying claims. Local Toyota dealers do not normally stock these unless they buy TRD stuff in. Bruce supplys them anyway. ← kk thnx. hrmm, that could be alittle too late for me. yep dun worry, my local toyota dealer sells them. if they dont have it in stock, they said they would source it from others who do stock them. can ya pm me bruce's price. if u dont want to say the exact, can ya put the price in a range for me ? thnx ← Sorry No I can't PM the price as I don't know the current price look at his site. The price goes up and down with the dollar. Ask him he may have one in stock so could be quicker getting here.

  8. Maybe so Egene but of the 3-4 different types I have fitted the TRD unit fits the best. After buying and installing 7 CAI's the TRD is the best fit.
  9. I got them myself they are not available as a genuine spare in Australia *** knows why . Whilst I was in New Zealand I went to a Honda dealer and foound out they were available there. So I ordered them and bought them back. My father in Law owns a body shop here he painted them for me and the Honda dealer fitted them. They look good and not out of place they are 70mm wide. I got them as in general people do not respect other's cars and don't care about giving them door dings. I completely recommend them if you want them I can put you in touch with the dealer, since you are buying the Euro as well. They have other parts we don't have as well, strange as the market is a lot smaller there than here. They also have a Mugen version as well.

  15. Not yet after spending 47K on the car and mods I am a liitle broke... H Day (Honda Day) today...finally
  16. Now that would look funny... Saw the car with the Mugen grille fitted today man it looks good.
  17. The car has arrived at the dealer am picking it up this Thursday. Then I'll post some pics.
  18. If you have any issues try Bruce at www.tradsales.com he has a few contacts that may be able to help.
  19. Yes the Strut Brace is well worth it the car will corner better. Do the springs, I had Eibachs but the Whitelines are very good. Whiteline make a nice Strut Brace as well as a Swaybar. Becareful though some insurance companys are funny about shocks. So I would investigate this first to see what they will allow you to do other wise you may find youself not insured if you have an accident. Seating position does not change with Springs or Shocks ..????. They just lower the car not change your seating position well... I supose closer to the ground 30mm changes the height ... :P . Re the Shocks and springs they will work fine with your existing wheels. Suggest you ask a Tyre shop about the tyres ..Good luck.
  20. Contact a Toyota Dealer in New Zealand the GT (Sportivo) was only on the market for a very short time. I did this when I bought my Honda Parts. Works like a dream.
  21. They are Spotivo Specific (I think) No they are not just knobs and yes you can buy the vent assembly from Toyota but do not expect them to be cheap..at least $200.
  22. I spoke to Bruce while I was in New Zealand who in turn spoke to TRD and they have not seen the problem at all though I believe he was getting some spares in. If you over tighten the rubber elbow it may cause it to split. Also if the brackets are not installed correctly (which supports the CAI) it may also cause the elbow split. I tried to cut one of the elbows recently with a box cutter in Sydney at Xooms place and it was very hard to cut (thought it was not especialy sharp it still would have opened my skin up very quickly if I had slipped). Just ensure the the hose clamps are tight but don't over do it. Also ensure the vacum cap is on the intake (just before the MAF sensor) or it will affect performance. Also it is normal to sound like the it is spitting (has happened on every one (I have installed 7 to date with no elbow splitting at all)). The clicking noise you get inside the car if you get it is also normal that is the VSV as Zerolla stated but that is not the cause of the spitting. If your car is cold no matter what.. Sportivos run like cr@p untill they are warmed up and do not accelerate till they are fully warmed up and they will cough and splutter if you try and take it into lift too soon. Just check that all Vacum Hoses are not leaking. Remove the MAF sensor and get some brake cleaner and give it a Squirt to clean it. This should help. The MAF sensors do not like oil on them and it can affect performance. Remember the filter has oil on it and that can and will hit the MAF sensor and stick. Clean it and it should be ok. I did this on mine and it helped. Good Luck.
