  1. Well just to let you know the new car has arrived and I should have it sometime at the end of next week. The car is the 2005 Accord Euro in Artic Blue with 17 inch wheels Mods So Far Comptech Ice Box Intake Comptech Short Shifter Mugen Grille OEM Side Door Protection Darkest Legal Tint Reversing Sensors MP3 Player Acura (Honda) Sunroof Weather Shield Mats Boot Liner Lock Nuts Full OEM Body Kit On the way OEM Speaker Upgrate to 200 Watts, EuroR Emblems. Possibly going to lower it as well. So Guys in Melb when are we going to have a cruise. Australia day weekend?
  2. If you have the face lifted rolla no they won't fit. You would have to get the updated spotlights for the model you have. You will also require a switch stalk assembly ...if you want to do it properly, other wise you will require a switch on the dash.
  3. Hi mate if you want to fit them illegal or not (which is ultimately your choice and no one else's)... Autobarn sell all sorts of Elbows and clear plastic hose line as well Try them and good luck.
  4. Yes so am I Lucio you should have seen what she said about you....... something about wool burn... Also Lucio have the intake.
  5. Forget Powerchip I went down that path...waste of time is not tuned to your car is only base lined and is not Dynoed to match your car. Unichip is the best. A powerflow controller would be great but they don't have a wiring loom to suit the Sportiivo yet. Unichip is also cheaper than the powerchip. I had the Unichip on my stivo and it made a huge difference...
  6. Have a Merry Xmas and New Year take care ..I am off on Holidays for two weeks. See you in the new year. Even though I will be driving a Honda in the new year my heart will always beat to a Sportivo drum....
  7. Mate so it is the winged type of bird you attract not the two legged bumps up front ones...man you are doing something wrong....lol :P :P
  8. As moderator I would suggest this thread is totaly unappropriate. Please desist as this does not promote the car in any shape or form. In fact if anything it could cause more harm. All it takes for some insurance company to see this then they may start reviewing how much you pay on your policys and others as well as making the car a possible target for cops. Please be sensible at some of the speeds you state ..one slight thing wrong and you are dead possibly taking someone out with you. I am not saying I am totally innocent but please have some sense. It all will do if you get caught is that you will end up in jail with huge fines. Take it to a track where it is a lot safer.
  9. No I don't have it yet :( but thanks for asking I wanted a 2005 model ..that is coming out with 17" mags. I will be getting a 2004 built car but complianced in 2005. The colour is the same (artic blue pearl) as in the pic except I will get the full body kit (that one does not have the rear wing). I have also purchased a CAI, Quickshifter, Sunroof Shield and Mugen grille to go on the car when it arrives. All the parts are on their way from the States at the moment except the CAI which I have already. Yes I still have the Stivo but it had it's last drive home tonight and is now ready parked in the carport for the new owner to take ownership. I hope the new owner has as much fun as I have had she has been reliable and is a excellent car. It will be sad to see her go but I am looking forward to a bigger car. I look forward to going for cruises when I get it which is in early January. The dealer already has the Body kit ready... I was going to look at the Megane 225 but decided against it as the wife would have had kittens if you know what I mean. Already she is worried that I will mod like crazy...who me mod not a chance...lol. It will be done to some small extreme without killing its value as it is not looked at here as a modders car. Anyway have a Great XMAS and New year I am off to Neu Zealund... (kiwi speak) next week for a holiday... enjoy and drive safe boys and girls.
  10. Was Red Rocket (not my name) ...at the moment is going almost gone
  11. I will probably be car less after this weekend till early next year. The CAI Has arrived and Mugen Grille is on the way so will have to wait till late Jan till I can go for a cruise....in my own car again....unless I turn up in the wifes Barina... mmmm gutless...lol
  12. I am not getting rid of the Stivo for any reason except that I came into some money and wanted to get a bigger car. There is nothing wrong with my car at all. I will try and make it on Sunday but it May be in Stewies car not mine cause I may not have it any more......
  13. Maybe you want mine I have no issues with Gear Changes is Lowered has the rest of the body kit on it and C-One wings. Also has reversing sensors, Tinted windows, Tow Bar and the upgraded Tailights.. Has 32K on it but is in excellent condition. Asking price 24K oh by the way it is RED. anyone who is interesed ring me on 0408311888.
  14. Also another thing to think about your insurance company may not touch you afterwards. They will generally only allow you to go one size larger.
  15. Try another dealer I am sure they are spinning you one....
  16. The tint I am getting is the darkerst legal tint non factory. They do come with 17 inch wheels ..mp3 well I hope the factory one is hugely expensive.
  17. Welcome to the Accord Club mate I get mine early January... did u get any options other than the body kit. I have reversing sensors, Tint, Mats, Body Kit, MP3 player and in Blue. I already have the CAI ready for it and the Mugen Grille is on its way from the US... :P. I will take a rest from modding after this have to save to Mod I mean upgrade my house to another suburb so money will become tight... :(
  18. Good Idea re the paint a lot cheaper than the LED's ..
  19. What a ripoff to fit an assemlby (I was charged $350) no matter what they say as soon as you fit the Clutch and Flywheel it will affect those parts re warranty wise. (By the way the flywheel is not neccesary to fix the problem only the clutch) .....Them fitting the CAI they don't need to do it it won't blow your engine up.. and they will rip you off fitting it anyway. When it comes down to it any non Toyota Part is not warranted in any shape or form by Toyota Australia even though TRD is a Subsidiary company. So be careful with what they say. It will not invalidate your warranty if you fit them on the Car as a whole (ie if your windows stop working how can they say it was the CAI or Clutch). If you do have any issues with the engine (which in the 18months that I had the CAI never caused me any issues) you just fit the original air box back.... Just don't drive through deep water that comes up half way up the wheels... :D
  20. If you know nothing about electronics....and want to convert you dash to LED's..I suggest you go to Autobarn they sell premade 2.5 mm units. They are are made to be used as wedge bulbs but can be modified to fit the stivo setup ..I used these on my Stivo, ILIVFOR6 and Danthuyers car. They come premade with the resistor already attached. It is a more expensive option but at least they provided piece of mind that they are correct The condoms are fine as far as brightness I used red except for Danthuyers car which was blue...Blue is darker tho... Also do not forget they are directional polarity wise, meaning + must go to the + rail in the dash or they won't work.
  21. Yeh, business sucks and not earning enough to support the Stivo :P Hey Craig, maybe we can work together and businees might improve :P ← Nice that it sucks.... :o :P
  22. You do not need to use a screw driver in any shape or form :o . Except to remove the screws at the back of the console. Process is 1) Remove surround around the gear lever after removing the knob 2) Removed the Ashtray 3) Remove the vent surround by pushing in the lower part of the vents. Grip either side and pull straight out.. 4) Once the vent surround is removed put the gear knob back on (to prevent damage to the centre console). 5) Once these are removed pull the lower part on the centre console gently towards you (Held by two clips (no screws hold the console in) 5) Pull the top of the console towards you (agan helpd by two expanding clips) 6) There are 3 sets of plus remove these (they are all keyed so you do not need to worry about recording the details) 7) Remove the Ashtry bulb at the back of the console And the console should be out. Be carefull not to brake the clips. Remove the Six screws at the back of the console (lay the console on a towel or something soft to stop scratching) Lever the top of the black rear assembly out gently. When you pull the cover off be careful as it has a ribbon cable which can be damaged easily. There are are a Total of 5 lights that would require replacement with Leds and 3 Condoms of your colour choice. LEDs Are prely directional so you cannot replace the Aircon and Clock units with LED (they do not disperse light in all directions). Also LEDS are polarity sensitive so you must get them around the right way once installed. My advise is if you have no idea get some one to do it who knows how to or has done it before because you can cause damage if you were in Melb I could help but.....
  23. Yes it is Toyota has revised the front stut insert since the original release. I had mine replaced under warranty.
  24. All intakes ie AEM, TRD and Injen have been adapted with the neccesary MAP sensor Mounts. They are the only sensors that the Rolla has there is no further sensors. I would recommend the TRD unit as it fits perfectly on the Corolla.
