EVERY wiring loom in the car had to be changed. they had chewed through most wires/foam/etc. unfortuantely, he was overseas for 2mths, so didnt see it until it was way too late. :(

my brother-in-law's father had a similiar thing happen to his Audi Q5. except the rats went through the whole car! ~$20k later, the car was back on the road, but still smelt of rat. :(

it looks very clean and nice mate. i'm still not convinced on the colour coded bars, but i think its because it doesnt really show it as a "TRD" anymore. either way. as a package, its very nice. :)

i wonder how soon the first one will get written off by a p plater. at the starting price, i can see a lot of 'youngins' getting one. i wonder if they'll eventually become the "bogan" car as well... i hope not. great on toyota for making it affordable, but i just see the downside of it. :(

better brakes makes for less a$$ clenching when trying to come to a stop at the end. stock brakes are disgusting on a stock turbo. let alone one with 300kw.

this is true. although i must admit that i was surprised it took a beating at the track last night and then drove home normally. i was half expecting it to go wrong.

best run last night was 12.384 @ 115.46. best mph was 118.3. if i could launch on boost, and get a better 60ft time, i could hopefully break the 11s. going back in a month with some better rubber and brakes. :D

100hp? where did you get that from? lol i never got to do a stock run. stock fg xr6 turbos range from 220rwkw to 250rwkw.

the bearings in the turbo were on the way out. so i took the opportunity to upgrade to an FG F6 turbo, high flowed injectors and got it tuned. its now sitting at 300.6rwkw. VERY VERY stoked with the result and the car is completely different. i have a child-like grin on my face from ear to ear every time i put my foot down. :D :D :D here are the dyno graphs:
