damn.... that made a HUGE difference... looks about 300% better than stock!!! see, this is what baffles me... why dont car manufacturers make cars look like this one??? like, make it an optional extra and charge reasonable prices for it!!! :) congrats mate.. very hot aurion right there!!! :D

Such a beautiful sight that was. thanks mate... i'm always there most nights at my mates coffee shop... so now that you've taken the whole interior out... how hard is it to get to the wiring behind the stereo? lol was it a pain in the *****?

hey... My name is Ash, and i'm new around here... Just thought i'd post up some pics of my new ride and introduce myself to everyone... :) i picked it up on Friday 11th April 2008 and i've already done 450kms... hahha anyway... its a 3500SL with sunroof and sat nav... and holy crap does this thing have some balls behind her... and the engine hasn't even been run in yet!! basically in terms of future 'mods'....... i MAY change the exhaust from the cat back to make it sound a little beefier... i MAY upgrade the standard speakers and add a subwoofer/amp... i MAY add a strutbrace front and back... i MAY lower it slightly... (doubt it though) but thats all AGES away.... right now, i'm just gonna enjoy the car for what it is and get used to it... oh the only thing that will be done asap is to add tinting to the windows... i'm just going the legal 20%.. MAYBE 15%... depends on how dark 15% actually is... :) anyway... here are some crappy pics until i get the time to take some proper ones... if you're in brisbane, i'll most likely be out this thursday night to meet you guys... so you can see it in person if you want.. :) cya ash.

well i picked it up this arvo... so glad i chose this car... i couldnt be happier with it... just a quick question... this mountain run is on a friday night right... so does that mean that the usual thursday night you guys do will be cancelled? i cant make the friday night due to family commitments... but if there is still a thursday night meet, i'll come to that and introduce myself... :)

well, they've thrown in a lot of free stuff for me (ie, free extended warranty)... plus i already got a significant amount of the price of the car at the negotiation stage... and then to top it all off, they've given me a aurion prodigy to thrash..i mean drive... until my car is ready... :D they reckon it should be ready to pick up today (friday) arvo... so fingers crossed!!! haha

i'm currently waiting to take delivery on my TRD... but in the meantime, toyota have given me an aurion prodigy (no sat nav) to drive around in until its ready.. i thought it was just me when i heard a hissing sound from the speakers with the stereo off... but it looks like you've got the same issue... although, i'm not sure if its related to the speakers, because i havent actually put my ear against the speaker... but its definitely a hissing sound when the stereo is off.... i hope to hell my trd doesnt have this issue!!! :(

usually how fast do you guys go?? i havent picked up the new trd yet... and i've been craving a mountain run for over a year (i owned a accord euro, and it sucked around the mountain)... so i'd love to come on this run, but i dont know the car at all yet... and i doubt id know it well enough by the 18th to do a fast paced NIGHT run... if some of you go at a moderate speed, then i'd love to tag along... also, just curious as to what mountain you go on? EDIT: never mind, just saw in the other thread that its a Nebo run... :) sorrry for the noob questions... i'll get the drift of things around here soon enough....

hey i just signed up today... so i think i'm the noobest of the noobs... i just bought myself a TRD Aurion 3500SL... (arrives mid next week) but the forums i usually hang around on dont really cruise anymore... so i was just wondering if you guys mind having a noob tag along? probably not next week, but maybe the week after if you guys are doing something... cya ash.
