    will most likely have it in after my 10k service since toyota says it will void engine warranty? snice i'm already just over 9k km i might as well wait instead of putting it on now and taking it back off in a week or so... i'll dig up this thread again when i have my 10k service done, thx for all the offers guys :)

    hey guys, my TRD CAI arrived this morning, the only thing is i have no idea on how to install the thing (not very good with mechanics), i'm located in the south east melbourne area (Springvale), so if anyone is willing to lend a helping hand that would be great... quite happy to pay for petrol costs/lunch or whatever :)

    i saw a new one on the street a couple of days ago, very very similar to the old model at first glance if you ask me, but looked at it again and released it wasn't... very slick

    with the TRD front strut bar, do we have to bend that metal pipe with the blue thingy on it out of the way to accomodate the bar? or does it simply sit over it? edit: nvm found the thread

    we'll all be fine as long as no one thinks they are invincible and does something stupid, if you don't know the roads take it slow, and even if you do... be careful and don't push it too hard

    when i was driving my parents camry stivo i was holding onto the gearstick and everytime i braked to come to a stop i naturally put the gearstick into neutral o.O was still thinking it was manual, oh and i was trying to find the clutch a few times :P

    well c-one is coming out with a new front bumper soon, not sure if its the whole thing or just a lip, ask benson (ignition-x) for more info

    it won't fit because of the different shape of the front bumper in the pre and facelifted cars, i'm not sure about this but i think they just drill it in

    if you're driving a sportivo you can go 3rd at 45-50 very easily, like shao said driving at low revs on the sportivo doesn't really go very well

    are you clutched? i don't know how others drive but i was taught that if you're driving at a low speed say 40 and under, then you should have the clutch in and just rev and let it out a little as you want to move, the shaking is most likely because the engine is dropping to a low rev and getting on stall point
