  1. Well it's pretty quiet on here tonight... I'm sure I spotted a Toyota today! Can't think of any... Does my Rolla count? :P
  2. I would tell you but I have no idea what the question means?
  3. Latest update, I've pulled 67Rolla out of Motorvation... :( Running out of time and money to finish her, thought I'd take a step back and stress less. Don't want to rush together a car that I'm not happy with. Should have the car running (but not complete) in a couple of weeks. Need to sort out the following: Front apron doesn't fit Crack in the paint in the engine bay Flaking paint at the front of the engine bay Bumpers fit but are a bit wonky Interior still needs painting in a lot of places Overspray from the blacking Stereo to be fitted Alarm to be fitted Engine to be fitted (Starting on engine this weekend)
  4. Hey that's 3/4 of the way to helpful... Once the pad is down and the feet for the supports are set into the pad, the rest should be resonably basic...
  5. Need tonnes of parts! I'm in Gosnells, but happy to travel... I have sourced most of the missing parts now, but still finding more each day :( Biggest problem is I've almost run out of money... ordered a 6x6m garage with a 10x6m patio, and between the deposit for that and the car (now close to $11k spent), I've wiped out almost all of our savings. The garage is a flat pack and I haven't sorted the pad or who is building it yet, I get the flatpack end of Jan/early Feb... Know anyone happy to help build a garage for beers?? :D
  6. I think I spotted Bondee at the Welshpool & Leach lights ~7:30am. It looked like the Purple people eater, didn't see the driver..
  7. OK more pics at home, not the best pics was in semi shade... Now I just need to get back my gauge pod, glovebox-lid, ash tray, fuel flap, and I'll be happy... Will be picking up these bits on the weekend. Also, I found out I had spilled some paint stripper on my 'rare' 67 tail lights :( after a couple hours sanding I think, with another couple of hours they may come up ok.. All in all I think she's on schedule to make Motorvation...
  8. Why not add some rocking horse poo to your shopping list... Good luck! I hope you prove me wrong! :D
  9. Updates!! Car is coming home this weekend, after 9 months at the panel shop! All the body is perfect (or close to) inside and out... The goop in between the panels below where the data-plate goes didn't go too well with the primer/paint, this will be cleaned back and redone before she comes home. The rest of the bay looks perfect! Interior all painted. After many many, MANY hours the bonnet is finally perfectly strait! How about those lines (bootlid is not fitted). And this is what I have been doing at home. All in all I think she's on schedule to make Motorvation...
  10. Went away for the weekend. Took this pic, no prizes for guessing where we went... Could'n find anywhere else to post this..
  11. Finished painting the block (will rub the sump back and re do :( ) Should have pics of the primed engine bay and new pics of the outside some time this week. Oh, and "happy birthday to me!" Got these for my birthday
  12. OK Updates. Dropped the old 3K (with gearbox) on my leg last weekend! :( Very sore but no damage to engine... or leg. Interior all at the trimmers, should be done by Christmas. Red Vinyl as close to original as possible. Body should be all finished by 14th Nov... EDIT: Just did a tally of what has been spent so far, and cost to finish. Lets just say if I ever sold it would probably be at a loss :(
  13. Thanks Legend, I can guarantee my KE10 is never going to see gravel, if it does, not at anything greater than 20km/h.
  14. Hey guys, would have to agree with you on the gravel bit. It's great fun if you have an old bunky, but you should see how much dust I have in the Avalon (I had my windows down :( ) Still, if I'd been there in an old bunky I probably would have joined in... Rollaclub meets are not usually anything like that, they are usually more of a family picnic, on the side of boring. And a big sorry to the girls for the mix-up with the final meeting points.
