    Spotted a TRD Hilux on Abernathy Rd Yesterday @ ~5:10pm. First time I've seen a factory TRD anything on the road!

    Thanks SQU-47N I may have found a place that can change (cut and weld) a new diff onto my axle! My gauges are paid for and should be here in 2-3 weeks Got to get the interior back so I can get it re-trimmed, and all trim back so I can start polishing. Will look at collecting all this from the paint shop over the weekend. Today I'm thinking red for head, block, sump and gearbox.... I think she may just make it to Motorvation....

    What the rocker cover?? It would get fingerprints all over it! :P Polished the thermostat housing as well. Dissasembled the top end, everything looks in great shape :D Nearly ready to paint, thinking of painting block & head red, sump black (or maybe red as well?) gearbox & driveline white... Or should I paint the whole thing white to match the engine bay?? EDIT: Remember this is NOT going to be a daily. Will buy a full gasket set shortly and start the rebuild as soon as all is painted.

    Thanks fellas. I have no set deadline, but car is entered in Motorvation (17th & 18th of Jan). If you thought those rocker cover pics were ok... And one without flash... Still not 100% happy, will spend some more time on it later, had enough of it for now!

    OK have started sanding back the rocker cover ready to polish. Oh and here is the bootlid badge I managed to get.

    With only 5 digits I haven't got a clue how many k's my 67 has on it... But I hope to see it get back round to 0 a couple more times :D

    5K has arrived. So has new bootlid trim :D Old engine is out, engine bay cleaned and primed. Can't wait to get the 5K cleaned, rebuilt, painted and fitted!! Will get some pics soon... EDIT: Chasing a KE10/20 axle (diff) assembly, not sure which ratio but the faster one... Or does anyone know how to change diff (or diff ratio) without changing hubs (offsets/stud pattern)??

    Hey guy's, one step closer to getting the KE10 ready for criusing... The 5K (1.5lt engine for those who dont speak old scool Toyota) arrived today!! Should be hitting the streets in a couple of months, can't wait!

    Damn, would love to attend this but I think I will be in Dowerin ripping the 3K out of 67Rolla. Getting it ready for the 5K that's on it's way :D I will confirm by Wednesday.

    OK, we took out and put back in a couple of fuses and it all started working again... Not too happy that the problem is fixed, only time will tell. Might have a chat with the people who fitted the stereo, see what they think.

    Sorry man, was a little harsh. :P Just ****** of with the thing. We payed more for a new car so we would have less problems, I think we got it wrong.. Thanks for the offer :) have someone coming to have a look (family not auto-electrician).

    I don't have a tester light thingy, and as my car is FU**ED I can't go get one! I don't think it's a fuse, I think it might be a relay. Just got to figure out which one... Car has about 10 to choose from, in the 4 fuseboxes :( Edit: and the things listed under "DOME" fuse, are also all still working (all the useless little lights).
