  1. Spotted yesterday approx 5:45pm....Marcus Clarke St, Civic. Twas none other than Rob, fresh with new mods! Loving the Red Rolla, thoughtful, subtle mods. All equates to a class act! Even has me considering a rear skirt! Big thumbs up Rob....
  2. Hmmmm..... sounds abit like Jimmy, not sure if he has his white rims on yet though.
  3. V6? AWD? Corolla kerb weight? Sign me up! Just make sure it doesn' have that *** awful tartan interior like the Golf GTi. Leather for mine please..... and would it kill them to offer a sunroof??? Oh and Jimmy is right. 45k for a Mazda 3 MPS thats rev limited in the first two gears? I haven't driven one but sounds like a torque steered nightmare. I'd take a WRX for 45k anyday.
  4. Its better staying undercover Rob, trust me!
  5. 18x7.5 here running 225/35/18 on a 35-40mm drop. I get rubbing in full lock but its only on the inner plastic guards, not the wheel arch of the actual quarter panel itself. On a drop like that I think 215/35 is your best bet, but as previously stated you have to find a 215/35 that meets the equivalent or better load rating. Falken, Toyo and Nankang seem to have a wide variety of sizes so maybe check in with suppliers of those brands. (Ie: Tempe/Ozzy). (Please note that I DO NOT endorse the use of Nankang tyres. mick0082 will not be held responsible for any injury or damages caused by use/misuse of Nankang tyres or affiliated brands. 6. Lenso Muse (Hyper Silver) 18x7.5 Falken Ziex 512's - 225/35/18 King Lows
  7. On a white car I like Hyper silver (which is a bright liquid silver) or a light shadow chrome.
  8. Yeah lookin good there Jimmy, I honestly didn't notice until i read your post, then i went back and had a second look. Hair schmick as usual though! Looks like we're all coke (coca-cola) addicts the way I seem to be cleaning the BBQ with it. And seems I have some serious vein thing goin on with my left arm..... not cool. Surely there were more pics then that though. Post em up guys!
  9. No probs Jimmy. As you say, I'm Italian. Cooking is in my DNA. Was great to hang out for an afternoon in the sun, loved it! Great to again see one of natures greatest sights: the Corolla convoy. Excellent to meet the new faces too. Shall do it all again soon. Oh and if anyone has a UHF radio, bring it. You can all recite Family Guy and Simpsons quotes with me, Jimmy and Mickey Tee.
  10. I've got this shiz covered BTW :) Good thinkin Mick Any preferenes on bread/rolls or sauces? (Maybe mustard?) Thanks for sticking your hand up Jimmy, although you didn't have to take care of all of it. Personally I'm happy with tomato sauce but the addition of mustard is a splendid idea! I'll be bringing rissoles provided i'm organised and if not it will prob be chicken kebabs from the deli. So where can I meet you guys? Cos we all know I have no idea when it comes to navigating round the southside.
  11. Micko my car is a mere rice-box next to your sleekness machine! When anyone sees your ride they're like Quagmire style, ole! Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait... Lois, this is not my Batman Glass... And micky_t that is just the type of attitude we DON'T need, punk! :P What I actually wanted to say was that I am now officially confirmed because someone is doing my shift... and y0 mama! Aaaaallllrrriiiiggghhhhtttt! Jimmy, Sleekness machine..... love it! And as for my all time favourite Family Guy quote. "Lois this is not my batman glass" Pure Gold!
  12. Yeah I guess it is! Ok so back on topic..... Who is bringing along some extra's to help Rob with his generous offer? Please raise your hands.... If we are BBQing then we may as well do it properly. We will need: Sauces (BBQ and/or Tomato and/or Chilli) Onion Oil/Salt BBQ Utensils/Paper towel Bread and/or bread rolls Change for BBQ (important and always forgotten) Can anyone tell i'm Italian yet? I get excited over communal meals..... Oh and as Rob said, if you care for a different meat or cut of meat, feel free to bring it along. If I have time I will make a batch of my patented rissoles. Hows that sound everyone?
  13. LOL WTF?! Mick0082 is always swathed in females. I hear he wears them to work every day. He's like the pied piper of ladies. Was sad when he lost his mojo, BUT as soon as he got it back? OH BEHAVE!!! Rob, I wish I had time to use said Mojo. When I had time, I had no Mojo Now I have some Mojo, but no time...... dag nammit.
  14. Ahhhh.... the Taylors and their Foosball. Priceless! I'd offer free rides in my car but I have nothing enticing to offer. No flashy CAI piping for me :( But I might be the only one there in shiny "Virgin White" does that count for individuality?
  15. I am well aware of that thread :P Will reply in there. Just registering my interest for the November car show here.
  16. Car show sounds good guys, I'll see if I can get a certain MR2 down that weekend as well....
  17. Good call Rob... its time to Re-unite! How all you dudes been going? Apologies for laying low. Things been very flat out!
  18. What time Saturday guys? Gotta give me time to detail the ride! Its a little grotty.
  19. Unfortunately I'm going to miss this one guys. I have to work Monday so looks like this is yet another one I'm going to miss. Was looking to catching up with all the old faces, and meeting all of the new!
  20. No thanks dont wanna make them cry Amen to Mickey Tee! I'm sure him and I blasting past at 8 grand would cause a stir, unless of course some of them are sporting SR20DET's...... in which case we're $crewed!
  21. You don't miss much hey Rob? Just sifting through the last 2 pages I seemed to have missed. I been on the downlow, homeless at the moment so thats keeping me very busy! Anyhow, next Wednesday should be ok for me. Unfortunately at the moment though, my availability is subject to change by the hour. If a real estate agent calls me to view a property, then I have to be there. So i'm not fobbing you guys off, I just have to treat finding a home as a priority! Anyways, what time you guys meeting tonight? May be able to swing by after the gym if I don't smell too bad ;)
  22. I'm not voting :P It totally depends o nthe model of the car and of course the colour. General rule for me though. Unless your prepared to go big, forget about a rim with dish. They always appear smaller! If your staying a conservative size, find something with a spoke all the way to the edge. My personal opinion.
  23. Friday night --> Unavailable Saturday afternoon --> Possibly available Saturday night --> Possibly available Sunday daytime - morning-1pm --> Possibly available Why possibly you ask? I have plans for all of the above timeslots but nothing confirmed yet. Leading a very spontaneous life at the moment.
  24. I'm booked out this week dudes :( Heading out of town on Friday. Perhaps sometime next week will be ok? Problem is, I never know what i'm doing one day to the next.
  25. Long run of silence here boys! Just thought i'd attention you all to the "spotted" section of the forum. I still can't believe it, but I saw this in my travels this evening. Hope to catch you all soon.
