  1. pull the screen apart and change the backlighting? or pull the screen cover off and change it? I believe it's not that easy... The structure is different than in many other cars as there is no backlight, there's many small lights which construct the image you see. Best regards, Alex
  2. Dutchie, I assume you've done it to your car as you have pics of the process...? Do you happen to know if it's really impossible to change two yellow screens (with fuel and driving information)? Best regards, Alex
  3. Like your LEDs and the interior :) Can you tell me or send some pictures regarding how are those bonnet gas struts are being attached to the car and bonnet? Best regards, Alex
  4. Guys, thanks for all your help and comments. Dutchie, I will try the technique you adviced me to use. Thanks for that very much! I am not doing the mod just to get some JDMness to my car, I just got an idea of the thing and started to search Google. Finally I found pictures with "vertical rear wiper" which was also named as "JDM wiper mod". I am not aiming to any certain style when I'm tuning my car - the only criteria is that I need to like it myself :) Best regards, Alex
  5. Hope there's something incommon between Smart and Toyota I will have to go out and make some investigation, but obviously it won't be happening too soon (-15 C at the moment and -20 C on weekend)... Thanks for the link man! :)
  6. Thanks for that DJ, I am not an expert on these things but I'll investigate this and that picture will be probably useful at some stage (if I'll manage to get that far) Best regards, Alex
  7. My main goal is that the wiper would remain in working order. I found a link to one guy's homepage who was stated to have there an instruction on how to do the mod, but the link isn't working...
  8. I would like to know more about how to do the rear wiper JDM conversion on ZRE/Auris... I would like to change it's still-position from horizontal to vertical which is pretty easy to do. What I need help with is how to make the wiper to move in the opposite direction compared to how it's moving now... Best regards, Alex
  9. I've seen that thread, and there's a similiar one on the UK forum... It's just that most of those parts are hard to get because I live in Finland and here it is pretty difficult to find distributors. Almost only way is to order by yourself, but it's not easy neither. I am only after stability, it is my main goal. My car is allready lowered, but I cannot go too low because I am using my car on winter too. That's why I think it'd be good to use other ways to make the handling better :) Best regards, Alex
  10. Thanks for the info Peter. It is pretty difficult to find anything for Auris, as there's not much parts available (at least yet). That's why I hoped if someone knew and had tested which is really best setup and could've told about how it makes this exact car to act! But I will keep on searching, this is new zone for me :) Best regards, Alex
  11. Sorry for probable off-topic but which bars do you suggest to use? Is more always better, I mean are they all that useful and more you have them, more stable your car is, or how would I know which strut and sway bars to choose for my Auris? Best regards, Alex
  12. Thanks for the info. That ET Makes your car look really good :) Best regards, Alex
  13. Great ZRE, I like the simple style! What's the engine you have and is the car custom painted? Haven't seen that colour before... Best regards, Alex
  14. What's the offset used? Would also like to know other size specs of your wheels. Best regards, Alex
  15. Very nice car, I like the style. Should change those AnglerEyes to white ones IMHO! Best regards, Alex
  16. I am planning to probably make this mod to my Auris someday and would really like to see some pictures too... I have a bit different lights compared to the ones you have, but I'm sure I will be able to make it work.
  17. I'm just wondering if it's really safe to do so? Isn't there a risk to damage your engine becase of dust probably getting in? Best regards, Alex
