  1. If the Apollo has the same series engine as the Camry, it won't have an EGR valve like the Celicas.
  2. Have you cleaned the throttle body or IAC/ISC valve? Is there any fluctuation at idle? Was this happening before the work above was carried out or did you perform the work to try fix the issue?
  3. I use graphs too, doesn't make me better at things.
  4. You aren't driving a Ferrari V12. e10/Unleaded/Premium. take your pick You could use all of these "rip off fuels" or you could just run it on kero. But seriously, run it on the fuel you can afford.
  5. I am sure that is exactly what you meant! Errr...thats how they do the tuning, on the dyno.
  6. This guy speaks from experience. BTW, how's that modplate going? Tune is where most, if not all of the power will come from. As for the above ;) So the supercharger is just for looks?
  7. Just ban the tool, he's clearly solely here to troll. I might just add the OP is a clueless moron who has no knowledge of what we know or what we can do to a "family car". Take for example the work myself and Jason are undertaking not to mention the brilliance of Tony Leung at DMT in Canada. 750whp T51R Camry, would destroy your piece of sh*t, rust bucket MA70.
  8. Well it was the ignitor...Turns out without the IGF signal(feedback) to the ECU, makes the ECU believe there is no spark and cuts power to the injectors. I threw my ignitor in and the damn thing lives...FINALLY!!!
  9. This car is a freaking nightmare to work on. :P
  10. ok i'll go and get a quote from vince rigoli performance and see what his thoughts are on this project thanks for the advice :) Be prepared for them to laugh at you though. Most won't even look at it without the cash up front. Is there any reason to not sell it and just buy an Aurion?
  11. Sorry but your mate is clueless. The amount of boost is determined by many things, one of which is not "what he says". Your friend with the Proton isn't much better. As for the kits, dont bother, save $10,000 and take it to a shop and get it done properly, because in reality you wont get much change from that when it's all said and done.
  12. Was a good meet last night, better turnout than expected, although there were 2 downsides. Having our ears punished with masses of disortion and old mate leaning on Andrew's car was not on. Whoever that was in the red Corolla, inform your buddy thats pretty disrespectful before/if he comes to another meet.
  13. Everything you have said has been based on opinion. Your opinion. Other people's and your opinion does not bias me on what I do with my money or what car I modify. To be honest if you don't like what we do, don't look and especially don't insult people because they don't modify the same style of car as you. Go to a JDM style car meet and tell me that you dont see any 4 door sedans there. Some of us like doing things outside of the box, because we don't want to fit in to the norm. It's our choice, suck it up and live with it because you won't change it. Be thankful you get a chance to voice your opinion here, because I guarantee it could all come to an end very quickly.
  14. Because I can...I don't have justify my reasons to anyone. Be a bit more respectful towards other people's choices mate and you will receive respect back. If you can't be respectful please join www.boostcruising.com.au and delete your account here.
  15. Looks ok. JZA80's are much nicer and more reliable.
  16. Me too...but it weighs the same as a Celica and has the same engine and transmission as a Celica(in stock form) so does that mean I drive a 4 door Celica?
  17. Is the Pope Catholic? Will be interesting to see some Celicas there, sadly the Camry isn't finished, need to finish Loki's Celica first.
  18. How long is a piece of string? On another note, I'll be there in the Aurion.
  19. so prob better to leave it on Yes
  20. Looks pretty good, but sounds even better. How much did the full wrap set you back?
  21. If they don't have instructions and you don't know what you are doing, DON'T do it yourself. You MUST remember with these cars being cars that are not regularly modded you won't get instructions etc. on most mods, so you either have to work it out or pay someone to do it.
