  1. well if they are over 20 K ohms per 100mm scrap them, i dont know the exact figures for the cruiser, but that is a general rule of thumb

  4. Mine does it sometimes after disconnecting the battery, I just switch the aircon off then back on, but yeah try disconnecting the battery.
  5. I've been around here for a good while, but haven't been really active until late, but i've been here. I kinda like the fact it is going away from a Corolla dominated forum, now i'm not taking a shot at the Corolla guys either, it's just good to see a mix of Aurions, Camrys, Hiluxs etc.

I wouldnt tap into the amp cable no need too, that would mean running all you wires into the vehicle where as u only need to pull a small voltage to actuate to relay, so ie running a wire from a constant 12V circuit, then running it through a switch and into the engine bay, that way only 1 wire needs to run into the cabin of the vehicle. the other 3 can be sourced/run through the engine bay.
  17. I very much doubt it will be stable, that is a generic kit that is not specific for the Camry and installation will smash you. Plus shipping is only to the US, Europe and Asia. My advice to you, dont buy it, its likely all cheap crap ripoffs.
  18. Don't worry mate, i think i answered my own question: 5S-FE: Intake valves: 33mm (head diameter) X 97.5mm (stem length) with a 6mm diameter stem Exhaust valves: 28mm (head diameter) X 98.5mm (stem length) with a 6mm diameter stem 3S-GTE: 33.5 mm diameter (1.32 in) 29.0 mm diameter (1.14 in)
  19. Make sure u have a really clean work area when rebuilding dude, a small grain of sand or dirt etc. can rip that sh*t to pieces(no doubt u already know that). Also what are the main differences size wise in the head, as in difference in valve springs, valve sizes etc. I'm pretty curious on this, because if i need to rebuild down the track a 5S-GZE would be pretty cool and the way i'd go.
  20. I like it, but i like the blue one in the sig better pity u sold it. I guess the flares put me off, they'd look much better in body colour in my opinion.
