  1. man i dont wanna sound negative but id prefer your old wheels
  2. There is no need for a stainless one(very expensive), the only reason they crack is due to the sunlight and the positioning of the bottle right inside the guard. If you're that worried just get a bit of foam/rubber to stop the sunlight getting in.
  3. mate, this is like stalker scary
  4. i'm still realistically about a month away, and urs will be one of the first gen5s wont it?
  5. so...it's a race then :P who will get their supercharger on first? Me or Andrew :P
  6. Swing me a PM mate, i may just consider it. I tried to get my hands on an E-Manage, but gave up on it due to price. Plus the SAFC cost me nothing.
  7. Simple fact is you don't get them(they stopped making them a few yrs ago), i just happened to snap it up when it became available 2nd hand with on about 4000kms on it from the US. I'm gunna run a SAFC to start with, much to the dislike of some, and the MAP will stay the same for now, did u need to upgrade yours? Coz I'm Guinea Piggin' this sh*t. :P
  8. wow! 5S-FZE FTW!! how much boost does it run, what is involved? Yes 1 of 8 Worldwide and the only one in Australia. 5.5PSI to start with, and i'll see how it goes, umm relocate the alternator, oil feed and drain, new injectors, fuel pump and a few other bits, so yeah hopefully it will be on before too long.
  9. Totally agree, pisses me off everytime i see the stupid bloody thing
  10. don't bother trying it yourself it will be cheaper and easier to get a shop to do it, if you are heartset on doing it, you could ream it, buff it up, vulcanise it, and plug it
  11. Well, got a bit bored this arvo and decided to do a test fit, found a few little things that i need to mod etc. Pic's speak for themselves
  12. as long as your car has OBD II it should work
  13. All i have to say, is i wish they could speak better English(not all of them),not meaning that in a derogatory way, but it gets frustrating communicating with them
  14. ***** it off completely, surely another mod can ban it, we dont need it
  15. i'd appreciate it a lot mate, cheers
  16. i grabbed a spare 5sfe one, as i already have the fitting for it
  17. Hey Mick, what sump are you running, the 5SFE or 3SGTE one? If you are running the 5S sump where did u tap the oil return? if you have a pic that'd be great
  18. wow $180 i only paid $110 per strut for the KYB's
  19. according to their site it will work heres the link http://www.scangauge.com.au/support/CompatibleVehicles.shtml
  20. the mod downside has hit u, there is always ups and downs to cars mate, but u get over the downs
  21. 20"x7.5"? I am doubtful that that is a legal width to height ratio. I am reasonably sure that the smallest legal width for 19" or 20" wheels is 8" width(just because they make them doesn't mean they are legal for road use), i would suggest consulting an engineer to avoid defects. ;)
