  1. $500 for both limits your options a bit. If my budget was limited too $500 for both i'd look at buying either second hand or the following- Amp: Jaycar Precision Response Car Amp 2x150WRMS $250 500wrms @ 4 ohm Sub Choices: Digital Designs 512 $249 Image Dynamics ID10V.3 $299 Treo Engineering TSI 12.4 $299 Crossfire BMFW10D $249 Oz Audio OzV12.3-2 $299 Hertz Energy 300.3 $296 BlackairII+ 12 $295 Boston G212-44 $339 on sale
  2. loooks sweet, these mufflers sound pretty cool would love to have a variable exhaust note :)
  3. i was looking at Golf Gti's also, but they can easily get over 50g with a few options, and they definately need the leather seat option, not a huge fan of tartan interior i think the euro is a better car then the mazda 6's in terms of quality ive looked over both and the CU2 Euro is in my opinion much better value for money, much better engine too Pity the new euro got heavier :( but they did lower the gear ratios etc to improve acceleration i dont think you'd bet upset with the Luxury euro :) great features for the price I think the only concern is i can see it being a very popular car, so there'll be lots around but if you get into the new model now your resale will be pretty solid for a long while yet
  4. $1,000 cheaper.. You wont find a brand new lux for 37, and if you do, sign me up i'll have one :-P even the base is around 38 on road?
  5. You wont get a new luxury euro for 37k, i'd be aiming around 43-44 for a "new" shape great cars though, if anything a touch under powered as they are quite heavy for their size but they do have more power then others in the class, very solid build :)
  6. Pretty expensive fee upfront :( In NSW its about $560 a year for custom coloured plates i guess in the long run your better off if you get something worth keeping :)
  7. Got my car serviced yesterday and i spoke to the service advisor about it As mentioned on here he said its pretty common, and that its generally a two day job i'll have to book mine in to get it done seems to only happen on the roads closest to my house <_<
  8. If you find it possible to order the Red gear shifter i'd be interested Pending Price etc :)
  9. I finally got round to installing Igo8, much better i must say i have sensis v14 maps, but igo won't pick them up Should they just be in the Content>Map folder do i need to change the license document for them to show up? any help on this would be great
  10. i believe the 3500SL comes with a TRD embossed gearshift lever in Plum i have seen photos of the RED TRD gearknob on early models in photoshoots etc but they must of opted against it i imagine it'll be quite hard to find
  11. Paul Hogan & Linda Kozlowski on a plane a long while ago lols
  12. Id steer clear of any products like that http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=2686 That looks similar there and has a few real reviews/feedbacks

  14. Desolvit, or meguiars window cleaner works well :)
  15. :) great to hear they are resolving the issue, now i just have to find the time to take mine in :o
  16. Hence why the price should reflect that. 60k sure, but 80+ onroad is a joke
  17. Niiice :) Impressed by it? If the price was the same as evo 9 pricing i would of bought one, Couldnt justify the extra over the old model Too expensive for a "lancer" Would prefer a 135i
  18. Yep, Im using them on the TRD H11 Osram Night Breakers http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H11-Osram-Night-Bre...idZp1638Q2em122 Bought them from that seller, Very Quick delivery So far ive only changed the Low beam lights, I dont really use the fog lights, but i might look into changing them also, Would like to do the parkers next My other cars an 06 Accord Euro Luxury like you had :) Its hard to not want better headlights after driving the Honda Didnt want to go with aftermarket HID's though, legality reasons
  19. Id go with the Osram Nightbreakers, can be bought on Aus ebay from a seller in the UK only took 4 days to arrive, nice upgrade over the standard bulbs much cheaper then the philips too
  20. :) Nice to hear your loving it, I changed the standard bulbs over to Osram Nightbreakers, Much cheaper then philips and they gave a nice upgrade, I have xenons in my other car and im happy enough with the bulbs so that says a bit :) :) your car sounds like it'll be the same as mine Whiter bulbs, GPS DVD & Rear Camera Unit, PDX Amps, Type x speakers & IDMAX 12 sub :) Otherwise the car is fine, nothing else to change i think, well yet maybe intake and catback B) They sure do go though, on cold nights it loves it, Left a new ss for dead
  21. The 3500SL doesnt have HID's just usual projector headlamps, Kind of suprising they left them off, i guess they didnt factor in headlight washers etc when designing the front bar so they didnt put them in.
