  1. :) i like the quad exhausts idea the badge looks like a channel ten logo
  2. Aurions arent thaaaat fast, I drove faster cars on my p plates and was always sensible enough (i guess :P ) I guess it comes down to the individual
  3. In regards to a few of the questions I bought the Strutbar from the Trader on this forum "Ultra Racing Australia" The bar was $193 + postage If you look at the photos where it looks like there is not much thread left for the bolt, the bolt was not done up at that stage and just sitting on, When the bolts done up its fine I havent had a chance to drive the car yet to see if there is an improvement will post up my thoughts when i get the chance to drive :)
  4. For anyone interested in whether the Ultra Racing Strut Bar made for 2006+ Toyotas Camrys will fit on the aurions, the answer is yes :D Fitting the unit is very straight forward, just takes a small tap with a mallet to allow for the strut bar to fit on perfectly Heres some photos of the Strut Bar I havent had a chance to drive the car yet, ill post up my thoughts when i get the chance
  5. im pretty sure my username is pumped_andy ill have to check :)

  8. I work for QBE Insurance Job position changes often
  9. Id be assuming it'd be a sensor issue, Possibly a burnt out O2 sensor or similar Hopefully it gets all sorted out for you If you have changed the exhaust it could be a result of that, happened in another car of mine, 02 sensor burnt out
  10. What sort of exhaust have you got :D Video clips? :D hows it sound
  11. Pumped

  12. As mentioned earlier in this thread I would of probably bought a new sti if wasn't for the ridiculous seating position Cant even fit in the stupid car :(
  13. I had issues with my Honda where i had made a complaint about a bad rattle coming from the glovebox and i knew it was the glove box cause when you pushed on it it stopped.. i had installed a head unit into the dash and he argued that they had looked at it and that it was the head unit rattling when the noise was in no way caused by this and was there before hand very frustrating trying to talk to these people sometimes, they're stubborn and will make up excuses to avoid a solution. ended up fixing the issue myself My TRD has the same rattle and it comes with Low profile and sports suspension standard, it just makes the rattle more obvious It shouldnt be to much of an issue as they'd have to be admitting the car is not made well enough in the first place for a rattle to start in the dash from lower profile tyres and its a well documented issue from what i can tell
  14. I was wondering if that would provide a simple fix, simply putting foam into between the dash and the windscreen It fixed the creaks in a BA Xr6 i used to drive On several occasions ive stuffed a cloth into the gap on the aurion when the rattle has become annoying and its stopped :) foam would be a more permanent fix im going to give it a go, cant be bothered with taking the car in to get it fixed, to much hassle i'll try this first Cheers :D
  15. so prolly 200hp at the wheels then? from 150KW atw stock to 165KW then I find it seriously seriously hard to believe that any intake could give 15kw atw!
  16. I havent seen any reviews on the 800w rms amp, have heard good things though I have seen reviews on the previous 2x150w rms amps etc from the same response line, several have taken out comparisons in magazines for best value for money, and most power per $ Should be a great choice for $180 :D
  17. Ive got a VE SS for work, Ultimately it has the ability to be a great car, for the money it gives great performance and handling for a standard car, Its just the minor faults that have spoilt the car First time i used the wipers the motor burnt out, the replacement motor allows the wipers to hit the A pillar at full speed (having a wiper motor burn out at 70km/h in heavy rain is pretty dangerous might i add) Half of the time the indash screen doesnt turn on until about 5 minutes after start up the spinning audio buttons on the wheel dont work sometimes The rear suspension set up needed to be replaced as it had a horrible creaking sound from factory BAD tapping noise in the b pillar has now been fixed.. All up its a good car now with a few issues fixed but even this morning it was playing up, never had an issue with my toyota/honda, its a pity they spent so much on something with so many little issues! i take magazine reviews with a grain of salt nowadays, they dont seem to look at the real issues behind owning a car
  18. The 600w rating on the clarion subwoofer is what i would presume a "max" figure, which is basically completely irrelevant Try and find the rms figure for the subwoofer, i imagine it would be around 200w rms even if the sub is 600w rms, 400w rms should be enough for everyday usage 200w rms more would hardly be noticeable to the ear in most cases
  19. i ordered a fujita intake for a mate from the states, took like 4 days! :D :) super fast
  20. Just pull the pump out a tad and angle it slightly so its not sitting right in it'll fill up on full pump speed that way alot of cars are like that, just need to learn to angle the pump right and it wont be an issue
  21. Id love to see your custom intake im not sure that the fujta would fit the TRD aurion? i presume the positioning of the TB etc is slightly different? i'd love some more intake roar :D
