You obviously havent been privvy to buying Genuine parts from a dealer....Im looking at a new Forester now and the 'sports' LIP kit is a bit over $2k...only a lip kit not replacement bumpers.

Ah, went through a similar story in high school. She's now a real weirdo with 2 kids (20yr old) and Im with the most beautiful girl in the world & couldn't be happier. Life goes on. Better things ahead.

Have a look at ebay or call some wreckers. I am pretty sure some wreckers have some. Otherwise....yeah...Toyota Part department would be the last option for you. Toyota genuine headlight = $400+ im pretty sure. Had to find out after I buggered mine blackening the headlights. Wreckers or ebay are the best bet. One day Ill replace it. One day. But not now, not for almost a weeks wage.

Looks like a pretty good little job to me. Glad to see it all back on the road...I imagine you sat in it and started rubbing the dash saying 'its ok baby I missed you as well, I'll never hurt you again'?? You need to give those tyres a little bit of black shine.

I searched but couldn't find anything relevant.... Anyone got comments on the best oil for the Aurion? Booked mine in for the first service since buying it and the dealer uses Castrol FMX, does anyone know if there's a more ideal or better quality oil? Prefer synthetic and dont mind what it costs (within reason). Got an auto tranny oil change as well cos I know the old owner &don't know what it would be like after she drove it. Plus its always good to have some fresh oil. Cars done 38,000kms.

WA is where the money is at. Dont worry, I'll still barrack for NSW in the origin & try line my visits back to NSW with a Cruise. Its eleventy billion time better than the HOLE im in now...known as Lithgow. Google it. Dont say I didnt warn you. Best part about it is Bells Line of Road...or Bells Line of Racetrack as its known to some

lol so why are you moving to WA apg39?! Got a job offer in Albany worth double the money and I dont have to use my car all day (= 20,000kms LESS per year now)

Ok, original price of $1300 was in Singapore Dollars. However... at todays exchange rate S$1300 = AUD$1297, so essentially the same. No idea which direction it fluctuates (cheaper or more expensive) if the 'economic crisis' gets worse or better.

AFAIK there's no Toyota genuine headlight & bonnet protectors (correct me if I'm wrong) I know there are bonnet protectors because I've seen them on cars, but no headlight protectors yet...I dont think... Anyone know if there are any & where & $$? Im sick of stone chips.

Progress overnight: Full TRD 'conversion' kit (8 pieces) is $1300 + freight. I mentioned I was in Aus so Im hoping thats in $AUD not $USD. Didnt answer if it was painted or unpainted but Im assuming its not painted.

Those headlights look familiar ;) I've liked the black roof since I saw it on a Camry on Toyota Nation, but I dont really want to re-spray the roof for re-sale reasons. I'm liking the smooth doors though - no 'bump' strip. Anyone know if ours is just held on by automotive tape?

I've enquired about the front TRD bumper only, got an idea for the rear bumper (TOM's GT bumper for Lexus LS). If they dont sell the front bumper separate - anyone interested in the rest of the kit? Nooo that would be too hard to do that.....at least they used Microsoft Paint to cover the 'aurion' number plates. There's pics on the Bid.Taiwan kits, they look ok but hopefully would come up alot better with a good paint job.
