    MUGG SHOTS!

    I'm sensing some sarcasm? lol
  2. Your missing the point....same powerful engine, same gearbox, AWD :D I'm doing some PhotoShops tonight to lower it and a few other little exterior mods.
  3. http://www.toyota.com/venza/index.html I don't mind it at all. I'd buy one, lower it and it would look pretty sweet. If it comes to Aus it may even be my Aurion replacement.... The fact it is on a Camry platform, shares the same V6 & auto box as Aurion....and it comes in AWD...does that mean that (expensively) its possible to swap drivelines to make an AWD Aurion??????????????????? Maybe this is a small hint at whats in store for the Camy/Aurion & may find its way into the newer models. I wait with baited breath

    MUGG SHOTS!

    Arrest me. Please.
  5. Agreed, however my little home job on the squashed pipe is relatively cheap & may/may not be significant. If not then I'm proud to say I sacrificed a header to help everyone else out. I've posted on ToyotaNation too and no ones fixed it so hopefully we can get more ideas flowing.
  6. 5 years? extended warrany?? yeah, not sure if its worth the trouble now.. :-p When I first got the car, it was meant to be a straight family car - no mods, nothing...nothing at all! Yeah....mine wasn't meant to be modded either. Oops. :D
  7. Well thats useless. Typing a document would take forever. - This post was sent from a Normal PC - :D :D :D :P :P and it only took me 10 seconds
  8. - but Ill be able to see what kind of angle is possible once I can get under the car instead of taking pictures as reference. Your pictures are the right idea, but cos the 2 pipes are already squashed, you'd need a new straight section from the front header to the cat, then cut a scallop in the side for the rear header to be welded into. Another dodgey Paint illustration.... (angles aren't correct)
  9. Dodgey Paint illustration.... worst part is that sensor right nearby so we can cut too much of the rear header pipe Similar to the join on this one....but not so much a right angle, preferably smaller angle so the exhaust is still flowing in the same direction.
  10. I too am doing some 'exhausting' investigations. Brother has a welder on his work truck so one weekend soon were going to get under the car & do some proper work, at the moment he thinks we may be able to remove the last 1-2" of both sides of squashed pipe & put in a new piece of kinda sideways Y pipe. I keep meaning to do a write up + illustration but I've only got the net at work for the moment. Its all done at home on my laptop. I've done some price chasing on a Borla diff-back (from US v6 camry) and I can buy it for $800 + freight (both sides). A local (Perth) distributor has quoted me $1700 (!!!!!!) for the lot. Hence why I'm looking around more. Aside from that I'm looking for straight through mufflers with either twin 2" outlets or single outlet & a twin 2" tip. Managed to find a few but Ill wait to see what the Borla is worth versus making my own. Also the Varex is in the back of my mind. Also looking at fabricating a proper 2" or 2 1/4" pipes coming from the diffback (where it splits 1 into 2) if I do my own muffler job. May as well get a quote to do a full system from the headers back with hi-flows while Im at it. I doubt HiTech are still going through with their TRD exhaust now that TRD has been dropped, but I'll try find out. I shall keen you posted but Im moving house this month so dont expect any action yet.
  11. SOme bugger has decided to rub something against the car...not deep enough to be keys so I dunno what it is. No idea why they did it though, Im new to town, havent ****** anyone off through work, havent been a stupid driver, only thing I can think of is I have NSW plates temporarily until the cars Registered in WA. EDIT: It all came out with a buff so never mind.
  12. Crushing someones pride & joy is pretty damn harsh...but if they are out there 'crushing' people in accidents then thats not a bad idea. Make them feel the pain (or at least 1/100th of it) that families feel when they loose a father/brother/mother/sister etc... Don't think cars should be crushed for minor things like speeding (within reason) if the car is modified. Only to the extent that the owners are being d*ckheads. Suspend licences & put out descriptions of the cars/plates to help enforce the laws, excessive law breaking should then be met with impounding the car for an indefinite period.
  13. Thats from 2/3 years ago. Pretty sick though. Be on my Xmas list next year.
  14. In case anyone hasn't noticed....today is Friday! Someone hand me a beer?
  15. I get "You do not have access to this Forum"
  16. I want to see this one done. Get crackin'. I wish....pity that bumper used in the pic is a TOM'S bumper = $$$$ from Japan + freight. Its alot of money considering I'll be hacking it up into pieces. If anyone can confirm that the Lexus LS series bumpers fit then Ill be all over them. Meanwhile I'll have to find a local donor car with diffuser.......
  17. Someone drive down to Albany & spot me....
  18. MORE>>>>> Random TRD chop - black headlights, new wheels, body vinyl, Subaru Liberty scoop. New ideas for the front end - 1) Lexus LS TOM'S GT front bumper grafted on 2) Lexus IS unknown front bumper grafted on 3) Colour match black parts of sportivo kit to body, leaving black rings around fog lights....gotta squint a little. 4) Lexus LS Artisan front bumper grafted on...could only find a black pic so I gave the whole car a two-tone paint.
  19. A few for you all. Im no PhotoShop expert & none are meant to win awards, just help 'visualise' what it would be like. Please dont rip me off if colours or lines aren't perfect. No stealing ideas.... Standard lowered with wheels - Bum chops with dual exhausts...both smooth, one with a diffuser.
  20. Post some up ap..share the thoughts.. How's ur bumper goin? I've got transfer them from home>phone>work first. Still no word & no phone call so looks like I'm getting my money back. Its 'ok' though cos I came up with a few more ideas over the break....more original ones.
  21. Haha, I did heaps of these over the Xmas break. Ill post them tomorrow cos they are on the computer at home.
  22. I'd have to say the fact that there's no 6spd manual available, the (notreally)sport shift mode & that its not AWD.
  23. Nice vinyl job on the Rolla Where in WA did you get that done? Im in albany & want my roof wrapped.
