Just had a look at the Ignition street dreamz dvd mag, the Petir celica made 109.2 kW at the wheels on 8 pound boost, thats very crap...and the car can not be registered or sold in the state of victoria :(

But im just stirring :), and the reason why i wont get a ces exhaust is simple, on its own its not value for money, very minimal gains for alot of cash :) , and no i dont want to start trouble, its just what i believe.

If youre gona spend do it big......if its reasonable yeah why not....by the time you muck around with exhaust, cai, etc etc you end up spending a heap anyway...im pretty sure a turbo project would be around the 5 grand mark.

When I have time, im going back to NT performance to talk to Simon, see what can be done, if he can come up with a reasonable price and offer reliability it might be worth doing, instead of pissfarting around with bolt ons.

Yeah but you nutters went there in winter, this time of the year the roads are better...ask Carlo about overtaking the friggen commo with a trailer :) . Black Spur is where my corolla decided it was time to dance ;) and boy did it wiggle its a$$......Ive been there a couple of times, nice scenery but if im going there its gona have to be a calm relaxed drive as theres alot of overtaking with blind corners, all it takes is one guy to overtake then the rest to follow, and eventually someone will have a head on. I have been up to the Murray River and back in a day just to go fishing, so im sure a drag day event is worth it.

Yeah im switched to it. The only issue I have is where they get the premium unleaded before they blend it, and the quality of that fuel. It would be good to see the big oil companies offer this.

On the pamphlet i read that every corolla after 94 is ok to use.

I filled half the tank with Boost 98 from United petrol, on the way home, the car didnt feel too flash, it was very humid in Melbourne yesterday could have been part of the contribution. When i got home last nite i reset the ecu, and went for a spin. Drove the car pretty hard, it felt alot better but it was cooler and less humid also. This morning, quite humid again, but the car hammered hard. I think i will use this fuel from now on, it's quite cheap and feels powerful. I will top up the tank and see what fuel efficiency it produces.

Costs too much for freight anyway :(

Its not that far, its closer than Lorne and we have been there a few times, takes about 1.5 hours max...i went past there a few times on the way to shepparton, and the speed limit is 110kph so you get there in no time.
