  1. Its quite common, it happened to my 03 model, especially in the wet rolling backwards at a set of lights. Get the disks machined. Ive had the left shocker replaced on the 03 model, the first series is more prone to brakes squeeling etc, especially after you wash your car. The 03 stivo still makes a grinding noise when braking after I drive it at high speeds(very high :D), the disks heat up not sure but its not a major major problem.
  2. You gotta remember that the fuel cotains alot of ****, thats why they recommend not to go below the quarter of a tank. I once pulled apart a fu8el tank in an old corona, and there was a heap load of sludge on the bottom, would hate for that to go in the fuel lines. My Air con compressor clutch gave up last week, made a squeeling noise. It was bad timing as i had just installed the ces exhaust, i thought there was something wrong with it, thank *** it was the compressor. You guys have to remember that toyota, being such a large company outsorces most of the components from other smaller companies, so things like alternators, batteries and air con compressors are made by companies like Denso, and others that are in the toyota suppliers list. Thats why you think you buy a toyota and its all toyota is no more, the reliable cars of the 70's and 80's built by them no longer exist, they once manufactured 90% of the components. These days they just assemble. Its a cheaper alternative, but at the same time more things can go worng.
  3. You just have to give your dealer notice about all these issues and complain complain or there will be no gain.
  4. I Love the new Yaris...looks Kewl, wouldnt mind one great buy mate :D
  5. Love the poses man :D looked like an awesome day Congratulations from me and my missus...just great :)
  6. A Barbeque sounds great, we should get some snags, plates etc, i mean theres gona be a farkheap of us there, the canteen might run out. Theres is a Mobil servo on the way up that cooks "roadhouse" style food...chips n shiet but its always chockers with rednecks :) we will be in the country, V8 country that is.
  7. Thats why I'm giving it heaps, to thin it out a little . Next time i'll try the fully synthetic, the Castrol 0w40 Formula R.
  8. I was gona try and use Mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic, but it was $75 bucks. Isnt the 0w40 a bit too thin for our engines?
  9. Just did my oil change using Mobil synthS 10w40, and the car feels a little more sluggish. Just wondering if any of you guys are using fully synthetic and how t feels?
  10. I poached this off our sister website in england :) http://www.topgear.com/drives/E6/A2/roadtests/14/01.html See what they had to say about it.
  11. I love the www ones that sit on the inner front lip.
  12. Holler??? i dont think "dat" ****z in "da" dictionary :D
  13. United Boost 98.Ethanol all the way, not going to pay premium prices when you can get premium performance at unleaded prices, and it makes the car run better...oh and so does the CES exhaust (a quick plug to Trev and Les) :D Ethanol contains something like 35% oxygen so the biatch burns better :)
  14. I cant believe you clowns were posting while the game was on :0 FARK YEAHHHHH GO AUSSIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Welcome aboard dude.just say what ever you want, but dont take some of the deragoratory remarks too seriously, some people just dont have a life.
  16. We did...i postet the topic before we worked on it :D Get back to work Biatch!!!
  17. Yeah the "bodgy" brand, as you named it :D , still works good. Just gona have to get some piping so air from underneath the car, gets forcefed to it. As for loudness inside the car, if the stock radio is cranked up to 40 you cant hear it... so its pretty good
  18. All this for Dyno Day II and Drag Day I. lol, serious well done dude :D , you must show and tell here in Melbourne . But the fact is, my stock stivo is still faster and more powerful than yours. :o Greek Style. ← You had top end power bill, but i have something you dont :) midrange torque, and a shiny muffler :P
  19. I cant wait, im going to do a run without using lift and i think you guys might be shocked, it just pulls soo hard between 4-6 grand. I mean it chirps the tyres doing a 1-2 gear change at 5 grand :D now thats torque :D :D. By the way o picked it up for $1,135 including delivery. Full stainless mirror polished muffler. $40 to install :)
  20. As some of you might now, i have not been a huge fan of CES, but after a few months of fruitless research i bit the bullet, and bit my own tongue......and GOT ONE :D ...and it rocks. Only one issue, the knuckleheads that installed it stuffed something up as it makes a hissing sound coming from what i think is the exhaust manifold, and it also touches the inner left exhaust cavity, so i gotta go and see what can be done. Otherwise its an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship and the car...well the transition into lift is there but not as much, and the torque hole between 4-6 grand is vastly improved. I have to say its been the best mod so far... Good stuff CES two thumbs up :)
