for that amount of money mate ull be looking at about an 00 to 03 model id think. if they are 4wd, ask how much 4wding has been done and more importantly beach driving. as thats the killer for any 4wds as alot of people dont wash them down after. other than that mate they are pretty fail safe. with good maintance the diesel will last 800,000. so if you can get some of them ud be laughing. the 2.7 is also a good motor but doesnt last anywhere near as long as the lazy 3.0 diesel

The stroker kit may be legal down here, but the PFC isn't unless it's tuned to meet emissions and the map locked by the tuner so that the owner can't alter it. holy moley i better remind myself to never move down there

bringing this thread back up have a few questions with the 2871 what rpm are u on full boost? and why no equal length manifold?? my car is apart at the moment waiting for all my new bits to be put in and i have the IHI equivalent of your turbo (VF23, 0.64 front, 0.71 rear, ball bearing). i expect to come on full boost by 4 hopefully just wondering where yours comes on? your car isnt as much as a problem as my car as u can rev to 8500 odd. my redline is 6500 (going to be raised to 7200) and the car is 1.5L are u running internal gate still? also what size injectors are you running and what pump? thanks mate
