  1. That is a long drive. I am planning to do Melb to Adelaide during the Tour down under (if I can find a motel at all). And certainly Melbourne to Sydney for a conference and ceremony in March.
  2. Yes if you have to option, I will go head rest version x2. Expensive though. I want a TV for the front display, and I think there is an aftermarket option for it.
  3. I would love one but I have reserve the old 3.3L engine.

Cheers Taka. Is there anything special i have to do when i insert the disc or should it load automatically?? Load automatically, and V14 will do some upgrade automatic when loaded the first time.

I am pretty sure a DVD+R DL works, since one person I have been PMing told me that he download a torrent copy from the internet, and was not able to make it work because he is using a DVD-R DL. Once he burns it to a DVD+R DL disc it works... could not remember what car he drove though.
  6. My footbrake is ok as well after service. The auto headlight is still ****. Turning on under the bridge. I suspect they bloody did nothing!

Sounds like there maybe 2 problems here. The disc I gave you is a DVD+R Dual layer. So either: Your DVD cannot read DVD+R Dual layer discs (which is most likely) You need non-Toyota disc... coz your warning contains Japanese and I think you have a totally different system from ours.
  8. It is frustrating ... it is always 10kmh under the speed limit. It has been advertise driving at 90kmh will save 25% of fuel compare to 120kmh. You will add hundreds of dollars of speeding fine too driving at 120kmh
  9. Mazda RX-8 Club of Victoria have been advised by Winton management that our booking firmly stands in financial term even the event is undersubscribed at its current state. As we are told of our full commitment, we are fully motivated to organise a track day on Saturday December 13th 2008. The cost will be $250 and EXCLUDES timing. There will be an absolute maximum of 30 participants, so as usual with our days, more expensive but more track time and less track traffic. If the number reaches anywhere near maximum, the club will subsidise the full timing fee. Otherwise, I guess the participants will have to pay for its service. YOU WILL NEED: Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 or CAMS L2S (if you bought a license last time you don't need to this time) Closed footwear Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker) Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure. Good condition tyres Working seatbelt (give it a pull and make sure it locks) Attached is the entry form. Please make payment by 4th Dec to confirm bookings. First in first serve. Entry form need to be snail mail to the address provided or scan and email it to me so I can print it out. Thanks Taka President of OzRenesis. Mazda RX-8 Owners Club of Victoria PS CelicaJim is coming!!! I wonder if that do anything haha. OzRenesis_Winton_131208.pdf
  10. Remote area's insurance for old people are cheaper! Please state where you are from and how old you are
  11. I need to go out and drive. Mine is only 22000km and yet do a long good drive outside Victoria.
  12. I am very new on towing and towed a car once (combine 1950kg). I found it very heavy but it move well, and Kluger have enough power to accelerate. I don't struggle with gearing either. It is also good at offroad but I am sure Pajero will be better.
  13. Opposite. Don't rest your head on head rest while driving... ironic isn't. I only use my the head rest when my wife tells me something I don't want to hear and use it as a gesture... most of time is about her spending money. <_<
  14. Professional drive (cough cough...) don't use head rest. The correct position of driving should allow gaps between head rest and your head. You should sit upright and forward enough so your wrist will rest easily on the steering wheel. And I don't even use the head rest when I have a helmet on... I think it is time to get your driving position professionally checked like in advance driving school.
  15. Nice looking car that is. Let us know what you are doing with the car. Further. What do you have option for fog lights?
  16. It is funny, when I drove my RX-8 today I saw a lot of Klugers and when I drove the Kluger later on I saw lots of RX-8s
  17. You have a white one Taka? I won't be surprised at all that peope are buying Kluger. Of the SUV that I was looking at recently, none come close to what Kluger can or has to offer. My only concern is that with such popularity, what would be the resale value when you try to sell it second hand or trade in a few years later. There should be no concern if it is a good car kept in good condition. You will find generally good car in high volume still be ok. Coz there will be more to choose from, people can choose colour and specs upon buying a 2nd hand Kluger II. That is why I want a Grande. The old Kluger Grande still a very good car and many people want it.
  18. Welcome. This topic has been covered before in this forum but only one product came up http://www.bushranger.com.au/blade_runner.php
  19. Even Bairnsdale has a F*&k load then I will stop counting in the inner Eastern suburbs. haha. I did saw 5 in a stretch of 5 minutes in Doncaster area this morning. None of them are phat White Grande :)
  20. Well you either add an anchor to the rear seats or yeah climb into the rear seat via the centre
  21. So the disc I send you does not work. Bugger. I think there may be hardware upgrade besides software upgrade........ I wonder if you need a V11 and V12 before the V14 can be used?????
  22. Hahahahha.. I got you there. I am slow in those things... I think we may have hip (pocket) injury if you buy the Grande 4WD. ahhahahah
