  1. Ultimate for Kluger prob a bit overdone. But I have to say I use BP Ultimate for all my sports cars and race car now. I used to use Shell particularly the Optimax Extreme and later V Power Racing. But at the later of last year I found V Power getting worse and worse and dyno do not lie. I did use BP Ultimate for Kluger once, that is awesome. V Power is just very sluggish. Same price hmmm. I much prefer Kluger with the Vortex 95. Give enough power... and has be best economy. Even better is BP 95, but I shop at Safeway/Woolworth. So hence my choice.
  2. Just past 35000km. Well my BMW 135i is coming soon... so I may put more k on that one 225kW and more!
  3. use iTune. It is free and easiest to use. Seperate them in folders for fast tracking.
  4. I hope not... coz even my mechanics has one of these
  5. Good. I can't search in this forum like others.... I don't think google search type is good for that. We need comprehensive search tools. I need search fuel injector service though hehe. Glad to hear people think it is waste of money too.
  6. Modding a NA engine is a waste of money. It will do minimal to your power when you change the air filter or even cold air intake. An extra 5kW at most?
  7. Kluger is half the price for a bigger car. The Lexus Sat Nav and audio is the same as in high range Toyotas. In fact the one in the Lexus ISF has an inferior screen (IMO) than the one in my Kluger . Not sure I will like the look of the RX anyway. Tell you what the RX Lexus are called Toyota Harrier in Japan.
  8. 5W50 is much cheaper than teh Mobil 1 5W30 and 0W40. It is about the same price $60 for 5W50 anywhere else too...
  9. I have not checked the Aurion owners yet but when I had my 30000km service yesterday the service man told me I should have my injector clean for $170. I politely told him that I don't want it done because I may sell my car any minute (which is half true). But they printed in the report saying that EFI is due to be serviced at 40000km What is your thoughts on that?
  10. I just ask my dealer about this... they had no idea at all how to fix it.
  11. I think you are talking about hydrogen... if helium was flammable, the Goodyear blimp would be a potential Hindenburg. I stand corrected haha.. my last chemistry lecture was more than 15 years ago. yep yep... so Helium is the one changes voice frequency because of its lighter?? density and hence you can make funny voice yep yep.
  12. Helium is flamable gas... I think you are talking about Nitrogen like others. Junebug is right - air is 78% nitrogen and it costs at lot to get to 99%. Benefits are: They seldom leak though the valve. They keep in pressure however you run the car - good for racing cars. Downsides are: The petrol air pump is 78% nitrogen. It is very hard to get a vaccum in your tyres to do initial nitrogen filling... Cost. To me - even in my track car - it is a waste of money. I don't mind adjusting my pressure after each sessions at the pit lane - hence I have a very nice tyre pressure gauge.
  13. Cool thanks I google it and found similar
  14. Do you have info or pics of the products?

    Wiper Blades

RainX should have won some sort invention award IMHO. They work like dream. I have some mixed with my washer bottle.
  16. $60 for M1 0-40 is excellent price. It is more than excellent I think that is 30% off! Castrol is good value
  17. Just not sure if you try this. When you get to transferring mode in your Kluger, I think you need to send your contacts via bluetooth to the car simutaneously. Your kluger must have a name to it to ID itself. I forgot how I set up my Kluger bluetooth to a different name (it says the rego number but I must have enter it at some stage), but it should say a name on the screen. Send the business card or contact to that name, see what happens.
  18. Where do you get Mobil 0W40 for $60/5L. It is $90 at Autobarn and Supercheap Auto. Is there 5W40 for Mobil. I could only find 5W50 from Autobarn's self. 5W50 is ok?? too thick?
  19. RiceRacing recommends 0W-40 Mobil 1 but I doubt it has all the benefit there is. It is still a normal V6 ... not too highly tuned. I opted for the 5W30 Mobil 1, same rating as Toyota uses but fully synthetic. As I will still be servicing at 10000km interval, I will have semi synthetic in the car for every 5000km.
  20. Not to mention the difference between 110kmh on the dash and 110kmh on GPS calculations. The faster the average speed, the higher the consumption. On average, it has been well known that it is about 20-30% difference in fuel consumption between average speed of 90 kmh to 120 kmh. Having said that in a long trip, I will do 120 kmh anyday and have more time sipping down my latte during my break.
  21. Oh ic.,... I really need that button coz sometimes I could not make it in time to push the button on the handle.
  22. Which button on the remote do they use? Do they do it instead of the tailgate???
  23. I'm scared to do it now but there does seem to be a lot of other paranoid advice in the Owner's Manual so I'm not sure which bits to take seriously. This is true, you know, it is called compression lock. It does not quite important for front wheel or AWD since sudden ***** in torque - the car just go straight ahead, pushing, understeer. If you have compression lock in a RWD, without DSC/ESP, you will oversteer and get a skid... well it is in fact one of the technique on Drift video that people use to start a drift.
  24. Wrong attitude IMHO A badly maintained car is real abuse. How you use the car is not a form of abuse. I change engine oil every 5000km on my Kluger, every 2000km in my sports car. e.g. if you don't put your sports car on the race track and maintain it frequently, you engine will be the first to fail. It is 100% true on the NA rotary in Mazda RX-8. All the other owners tell me, after oil and spark plug change then hit the race track for a few laps. The car comes live and the engine gained some power back again. Also, idle is smoother and car starts the moment you turn the key. Everytime I change the engine oil and run hard in some nice premium fuel in my Kluger - the car works better and runs smoother. Also the fuel economy improves. A clean engine is a happy engine. They need to some excercise - just like your dog.
