Theres a motel Formule 1 on the outskirts of town, if you really dont care about how classy your venue is :P

As far as fireworks go they are generally not advertised as vendors require a license to sell them at designated times of the year. HOWEVER... ... if you are willing to trawl through some smut mags/dildos many of the porn shops around town sell them under the counter. Just ask a local how to get to Fyshwick!

The only legal purchase of fireworks in the ACT takes place in the week preceding the Queens Bday long weekend - that's the only time. Plus you need proof of residency in the ACT. You are a few years too late :(
