Hi all, I am looking for tein S-Tech springs for my sportivo. But I found 2 models below:

Tein S-Tech (2zz): SKL56-S1B00 (F-50mm & 3.9kg/mm, R-45mm & 4.2kg/mm)

Tein S-Tech (2zz): SKY60-S1B00 (F-50mm & 1.9-2.6kg/mm, R-35mm & 1.5-3.4kg/mm)

Does any1 know the difference between those 2? (I know 1 lowers more at rear wheels. :whistling: )

Thanks

From Janan, I am not going to change the shocks at this stage because I am saving money for my cusco coilover. :yahoo:

But I want expierence some performance driving now!

i was gonna say you should probably get shocks as well. cos those stiffer springs will be real unmatched but if your gettin coil overs don't worry about it just get em!

Yeah, That is what I was thinking as well. But I am really confused about these 2 models above. I couldn't speak or write japanese at all, otherwise I would write them a email to ask for that.

the higher the springrate the stiffer the ride.

If you're leaving the stock shocks in I'd go for the lower rate springs. It wont destroy the shocks as fast.

the diff between the 2 listed are the stiffness and the lowering height....the first ones have stiffer spring rates and lowers the rear more

I reckon just hold out for the cusco coilovers. save the money and put it towards the coils or sways bars.

waste of money if you are just going to get coilovers in the near future.

official tein distributors are reluctant and even locked into not able to supply some products if you request to deliver into australia. in order to protect their reputation they will only supply products they have tested for each particular region.

so the one you choose you may not be able to get unless you drop ship it into another country or order through unofficial reseller. but then you will not get factory warranty and watch out for the counterfeits.

oh, I never heard about this. Actually I ordered through 1 of my friends who has some special connection to get it from Japan. Does it avoid factory warranty?
