Sorry if this is a noob questions but what engine is my 07 Corolla Hatch? On the engine it says 2zr and on my Insurance it says 2zz?

I'm probaly thinking that the insurance one is wrong, if so whats the difference between the two engines?

From my experience the insurance premiums didn't differ between my conquest and sportivo by much at all. But then again the sportivo is only insured about $2000 more then my conquest.

call your insurer and get a quote for the correct model corolla and see how much it differs to your current premium.

I always find it interesting to requote my policy's with the same insurer when they come up for renewal and see how much cheaper the quote is than the renewal. The last one I had with NRMA, the requote was $90 cheaper than the renewal they sent me with a "loyalty discount" included :P Changed to AAMI and saved $200 instead.

The new corolla has the 2ZR engine. It produces 100kw at around 6000rpm (136hp). I have the Conquest model and it costs me around $460 annually (with 60% no claim bonus and over 25) with Elders Insurance.

Hope this helps in your quest. :D
