Just wondering if cruise can be fitted to the Stivo.

Why? Well just did a trip for work into NSW (the speed trap state) went to Glen Innes via the inland road and over to Grafton then back up to Brissie.

Fixed speed cameras and mobile speed cameras every where as well as the truck monitoring cameras (don't know if these can get you - but will find out soon as we went around a truck with plenty of room and slow but when we got around it we went under the camera gantry over a double white line - on the wrong side of the road of course).

PS not in the Stivo this trip in a Prado luckily with cruise which saved us a number of times not knowing the roads and where the cops like to be.

yep you can get cruise sitted to your stivo and i know a few members have had it done. Places like brisbane car sound, autobarn can do it but they are a bit dodgey somtimes.

I would suggest though that you get electric cruise. I had a vacum unit but removed it not very reliable worked ok on my previous rolla with no issues swapped to to the stivo and yeah

yeah i asked around when i got my stivo and alot of people said crusie control was a waste because being a six speed you tend top change gears abit so u wernt gonna get much use outa it.

The Truck cameras don't get you in normal cars.... though apparently if you have a 4WD with a trailer on it does sometimes register and you can be fined. Generally though.. you should be sweet.

Not sure i could handle cruise on the stivo. Would be interested to see where everything sits? Are the controls in the steering wheel?
