Hi everyone,

was wondering if anyone can help me out??. i realised it was abit too hard for DIY(for me anyways)

anyone recommend a cheap place in syd?

Any auto electrician will be able to do it for you pretty cheap cause it isn't a big job. Although what are you having dififculty with usually its just a matter of unplugging the old globes and putting the new ones in. Although sometimes it can be a bit hard to get to the plugs.

I would recommend a proper wiring harness. but most people don't bother and result in burnt wires due to the transient high current draw when the HIDs are ignited.

a example schematic would be something like this

H4_Pos_BiXenon_Harness.jpg

so you see that the power to power the HID is directly from the battery and the stock wires are just used to trigger the turning On of the headlights.

I am hoping you have projectors retrofitted. And usually it is just plug and play too and pooh's method works too
