OK Dumb Question...

OK here we go ... will a standard 'Stivo back box bolt straight onto a IZZ-FE flange ?? and wtf do they have those springs on the bolts for??.. and will it make any difference (I'm guessin YES..better flow. ).

OK guys shoot me down in flames....!!

not only do you need to look at the engine (1zz vs 2zz) you also need to look at the chassis. 1zz hatch has different size muffler to the sedan and to the wagon. the shortest is the hatch and the longest is the wagon.

i helped a friend in sydney to do this modification. because the oem sportivo muffler had no flange so one was made for it. it is on the facelift and is only for looks there is no difference in sound.

be careful when you loosen and tighten the flange bolts. because there is movement if the holes are not aligned it is easy to strip the thread (i did :( )
