mr2 schcrows going is it cheaper to fix or buy new gearbox

no, the S/C uses the E series gearbox (with LSD) where as corollas and N/A AW11s use a C series gearbox.

as far as GZE gearboxes go, I'm not sure all of them have LSDs.

The shifter linkages are a different design on the MR2 as well due to the mid engine layout, but the corolla ones can be modified to fit.

often it is cheaper to rebuild the box, new synchro etc.

my dad used to rebuild boxes all the time in his cars... rofl
