Right the C-One cooling panel I got doesn't fit. It's for a prefacelift :(

So I might have one on sale real soon ;)

Washed the car, then stripped the rear of my car for a skidpan event for Saturday.

Managed to weigh the parts I removed using the bathroom scales:

Sub and sub box- 13.5kg

Amp- 2.5kg

Total seat backrest and headrests- 14.5kg

Seat cushions- 6.0kg

Parcel tray- 1.5kg

So total saving of 38.0kg :D

Not bad..

Its amazing how much things weigh!

Ive got a track day during the week, and may have to see how i go without any rear interior trimmings.

I actually prefer all those weight holding my **** down as the stivo can be quite tail happy .......

agreed, i take out only items required for scrutineering

i still use spare tyre in back to hold weight as well.

stripped out, everyone always cracks at you that it's not a real indication.

I didn't remove my spare as I am aware that they can get abit taily. It also achieved a little bit more front rake so alls good.

I was getting way too much understeer yesterday. But I played with damper settings and it helped heaps.

My best time of the circuit: 1min 5sec

A R33 GTR doing the skidpan with me was doing 1min flat!!

DC2R was doing 1min 5sec too..

Looking forward to getting my CAMS licence sometime soon B)

Update.

Remember the gauges I bought a long time ago? They should all be done this week hopefully by the weekend :)

Also cleaned my my engine bay abit using some degreaser. This is the cleanest it has been since I have owned it :)

And this adds 20hp atw :P

Finally got the right C-One cooling panel :)

And gutted another tyre. FFS that's like 2 I've ruined in about 2-3 months :angry:

Running late to mid sem exam so just jumped into car, got onto the freeway and drove to uni. Towards the campus (still on freeway) I see and smell smoke, so I pull over immediately and saw my rear left was rooted :( The problem was I still needed to get to uni so drove slowly on the freeway till I got to uni and parked it while I did my exam.

And that was the end result of the whole ordeal.

New T1R going on tomorrow noonish..

Well found a screw in it afterwards that must have slowly deflated it over night. And me not checking it because I was in such a rush = FAIL :(

I'm getting another T1R for 220ish from Tyrepower East Perth. There's been an increase in price since middle of the year..

I haven't had that since my car was defected lol.

Been going around with no tint. But not anymore :D
