Just wandering who and how many are interested that's all. If we can get between 10 - 15 people, that would be ideal and a go ahead.

Individually, it would cost about $80. 10 or more people then its down to $50. 3 power runs with the AFC and the works .....

Just an EOI. Its fine to bring your friend along but just FYI, its only a 2 wheel drive dyno and not 4WD. So Subbies are out :P

might i suggest you organise a date with the place, somewhere around 2 months ahead.

then post it up and get people to come

but talk to the place hosting it and let them know that you will onlly come if have numbers, im sure they'll be fine with it seeing as its a weekend.

its easier that way rather than trying to get a date to fit everyone, its not the end of the world if you miss out.

I'm interested! My car is stock as a rock though, but I plan to do some things to it later in the year so it would be nice if I can have an initial reading to monitor improvements.

Interested if the date is around 26 this month. Before i get back on my exhaust system's hunt..

If this is happening then it should be 28th June or later. Thinking sometime 5th July. Will confirm with the place and get back to you guys. Then we'll make a list. Or we could always list it now ...........

im expressing interest with my ZRE152R Levin ZR, but so far i might just watch i dont know.

as the cars basically stock as a rock besides a straight through exhaust (needs another muffler put in somewhere around the middle, its WAY too noisy in the cabin!)

i really wish there was more performance parts for the ZRE152R :P

I agree with Mopp...ill be in if get more then ten...cheers....guessing will be weekend later than 21st june ?.....could make it our first rekindled "regular" meet...guessing would be space for those not getting dynoed to park and chat etc

Thank you everyone for showing the interest in this group dyno and I really appreciate it. In the spirit of me hijacking my own thread, I would have to refer all existing signees from this thread for the group dyno to http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=245449

It makes more sense for everyone to go to that rather than this because its only a week after and its 5 bucks cheaper too for those tight ****s :D

Looking that we are 2 weeks away and still not have the number, I decided to pull this unless we can get the numbers we are looking for and people are still really keen. I'm fine either way. No hard feelingssss ...... ya right !

      Drive shafts

      I paid $1200 ish to get a pair fitted to my aurion couple years ago. Thats supplied & fitted. Apparently it wasnt a fun job. Id get the mechanic to source the parts incase theres an issue in the future.

      Vibration through body (not steering wheel) under acceleration

      Well, new tyres, a proper wheel balance seems to have done about 90% of the trick - the car now drives like it once did. The only thing is that a wheel bearing was called out as "completely stuffed" and as it is so bad, the only way to fix due to wear on the knuckle is to replace the whole thing. Quoted $600 for the repair and no parts for this until mid next week. Once this is replaced I will update if back to 100% or still more problems. I was thinking that the aftermarket CV shafts could be to blame - very glad this turned out not to be the case.

      New to Toyota - 2005 Corolla Sportivo!

      Long time no update. In all honesty, not an awful lot to update on. Life has been super busy and inbetween life, I get a chance here and there to clean the beast and also arrange for the usual 5000 km oil change. The car is showing it's age with more noticeable paint fade on the roof. After some time I've decided to order the parts to fix my slow power steering leak. After receiving the quote from Toyota, I was able to get the parts from overseas for not even a 1/3 of the cost it would've cost me to order here. The parts are due here in 2-3 weeks and I'm thinking of getting this done with the major service which will be due later this year at some point seenig as the car is quickly approaching 293000 kms this month. Other than that, I'm still enjoying driving the car and the money spent late last year was well worth it.

      I've noticed the same issue after changing the front shocks from OEM to KYB - and while I don't think the shocks are to blame, it could be that there's been an issue which the old shocks covered up by not working at all after 230,000kms. I've also changed the CV joints in mine, replaced the front suspension bushings; hoping that a wheel alignment and new tyres helps this - will post back in the morning the result. Adam,

      Dashlight dimmer

      I scored a nice fairly low kms 1992 toyota starlet as a run about for work,my problem is at nighttime the dashlights are very dim and the clock is almost non existant,ive searched the dash from top to bottom and cant find a knob,switch or anything else to do with adjusting the dashlights...can anyone help me with this problem?
